The line above is last nite's T5 winning numbers. It was drawing number 7,062 and the 218th drawing of 2016.
Ever since I made a T5 spreadsheet with all the drawing results sorted from lowest to highest, I've learned a few things. One of which has been very revealing to me.
There are a total of 575,757 possible five number combinations that can be created from a 5/39 matrix. Sine T5 began, we've seen just 7,016 of them be drawn. That's just 1.2% of the total. That also means 98.8%of the possible combo's have never been drawn. That's 750,599 combo's that have never popped out of the drum.
Us die hard players say/think a combo like 1 2 3 4 5 wont ever be drawn. But it certainly could and might be drawn someday. It does have the same chance of being drawn as any other of the 757,756 combo's. My point is although we think we've seen enough history of drawings to "know" certain combos wont ever be drawn, that's not the case at all. Just because we've never seen it happen does not mean it cant or wont.
The trouble is, T5's history is all we have to help us try to find the right set of five numbers for tonite's drawing.
So I guess the question is this; Can we/should we rely on T5's very limited history to tell us what will happen tonite? Is what we typically see happen every night good enough to help us pick a winning set of five numbers, and will it continue to happen? My gut feeling is that we can. Sure, we'll see a fluke every once in a while. (a fluke like all five numbers from the same number group be drawn - which has happened just five times in the 7.062 T5 drawings that have been held so far) But Hell, what else you gonna use???? We've got what we've got, and that ALL we've got!!! Let's go get Cuomo's money! G5

Good info here G5, but my opinion is that there is more than enough data in the 7062 draws to figure out what will happen in the T5. Actually you only needed like 1000 draws, to see a trend, that is what matters. And even if those drawing are not available, they can be simulated.
But all in all there is enough data to predict what will happen, I am already predicting the Fantasy 5. And yes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is possible, I can just imagine it will play in about the 2,575,757 draws... or more.
Your sencence "That's 750,599 combo's that have never popped out of the drum. " needs to be changed to "That's 568,695 combo's that have never popped out of the drum."
And the same in "It does have the same chance of being drawn as any other of the 757,756 combo's." changed to "It does have the same chance of being drawn as any other of the 568,695 combo's."

Agreed with regard to sufficient data and trends.
Thanks for the corrections! It was pretty early in the morning when I wrote those two sentences.
I should have subtracted 7,016 from 575,757 and gotten a total of 568,741. The reason I didn't subtract 7,062 from 575,757 is because in the entire history of Take5, there have been 46 duplicate sets of five numbers drawn. So I subtracted 46 from 7,062 and came up with 7,016.
As for that second sentence, I think I simply mangled it when I typed "757,756" That should have been 575,756. G5

I wrote the above post largely because I have a daughter. (Actually, I have two daughters, but the older one is the one I'm referring to)
See, the older one is 26, lives in New York (Manhattan on Wall St) and was a math major in college. And does she think she knows it all! You would not believe the arguments/fights we get into about the randomness of the lottery. She's a purist. It's her influence on me that prompted me to write that sentence about 1 2 3 4 5 coming out. "It has the same chance of coming out as any other combo, so stop wasting your time on those stupid Excel spreadsheets of yours!" .
It was her that branded me "A Numbers Nut". And all because I like to pour over spreadsheets of Take5 numbers looking for that ever elusive "edge".
She called me up not too long ago and says "I just got a passport and I had it mailed to your house, so let me know when it arrives."
So I said "So where you goin'?"
"Amsterdam, Belgium, and Spain." Just what I wanted hear. NOT!!!
I say "Don't you know there have been quite a few terror attacks in Europe recently?"
"Yeah yeah yeah! If we stop living our lives then they win. And anyway, you're a Numbers Nut, don't you know the odds of me being involved in a terror attack are slim to none?? YOU of all people ought to understand that!"
And The Mrs. G5 is no help. She asked me "Is Amsterdam a country?"
If I ever win big money, that snot nosed kid aint gonna see a dime of it. G5

"Is Amsterdam a country?"
Ya know, I aint too slick or fast on my feet.
Because if I was, I'd have said "Yeah. The Amsterdamian's just took a gold medal down in Rio for pot smoking.".... I really think she'd believe that too. G5
