If I had programming skills, I'd write a program that would search every drawing of Take5 to see what was the highest single digit number drawn in position 5, and how many times was it drawn in that position?
My guess is that it would be #9, but I've no idea of how many times it might have happened.
And after I had the answer to my question, I'd expand on my query. I'd like to know how many times in the 7,059 T5 drawings that have been held, did any single digit number appear in position 5. I would think it hasn't happened very many times.
The reason I'd want to know that kind of info is that it'd confirm what already suspect is true. I mean, if I went into a store and asked for a T5 QP and I got a line that looked like this; 1 4 6 8 9, then I'd know I'm not looking at a JP winner. Yes, it could be a JP winner, and maybe someday a line like that will win a JP. But don't hold your breath.
When I pick numbers for my lines, they don't end up looking like that. I know better. Maybe I'll take a class in writing code. Yeah right! G5
Guess what! It's not #9!! #9 has hit 869 times in the entire history of T5, but it's never hit in position 5.
"So how'd G5 get that information so fast?" you're thinking.
Well, I did it with Advantage Plus, and it worked, but it's awkward. #9 made it over to position #4 on July 7, 1995, but it's never hit in position 5.
And it's not #8 either! Nope! It's never hit in position 5. Now I wanna know what the number is! See how this feeds on itself? But after #7, it gets tougher for it to happen. I know #5 has never appeared in position 5 because 1 2 3 4 5 has never been drawn. So it's gotta be either #6 or #7. (That's IF it has happened) But I aint gonna keep doing what I was doing in A+. Too much of a hassle. G5

It's #7. It happened on January 28th, 2000 when 1 3 5 6 7 was drawn.
I know. I said it was too much of a hassle. But my curiosity was runnin' wild and I just had to know. G5

Nah. Dont even know how to do that. G5
I just did it using that feature. Just hit the letter "O", its on the next screen of the options. Then hit the #5. Wow, wouldn't have found it if you didn't say you used A+ Nice!

When you use the History View Filters option O there's all sorts of goodies you can filter out certain lines of the history by. I've been only using it to view each month of the history independent of the "entire" history ... never thought to do it by sum range! What a big DUH!!!

Nope, still using the one that runs on DOS ... been thinking about upgrading to the Windows version but haven't decided that it was 'necessary' yet. Just hit enter from the Main Menu, that will take you to page 2 of the Main menu ...
