What I have been wondering is what the person/group who actually does have the winning ticket thinks of this lady. Are they shaking their head(s) at her antics or are they worried that this nut might cause problems for them when they do come forward.

I don't think she ever had the ticket but I admit I could be wrong.

She either has the ticket , or is in cahoots with the real winner, in which case I believe they are running the Kansas City Shuffle on all of us.

If I am the REAL Maryland winners, I would be laughing at Mirlande Wilson right now.  She is creating a whole lot of drama for no reason. I wouldn't be worried about her "causing" problems....simply because everyone already thinks Mirlande is a nutcase, AND more importantly as long as you bear the ticket and signed it nothing else really matters.

I think Mirlande is definitely an attention seeker.  Either that or this was an April Fool's joke gone terribly wrong.

Will someone refresh my memory please?  Has this happened before?  It seems as if it has on a much smaller scale...or maybe not.

                Good Day 2 all

We do not know if she has the ticket so we should not be judgemental of the whole story as of yet . Right now no one has come forward with the winning ticket . Growing up in the wonderful town of Baltimore county and the surrounding town it is very hard not to say anything and everything is possible . I wish her him or whoever holds the winning ticket much success in the next journey in their new life . My best friend hit the Md losers contest for a mere one hundred thousand and we did a article 4 the Maryland lottery paper and our phones rang all day everyday for over a month . I was standing holding the check because we both went to the lottery office together to claim the prize and i had given her the information to enter the contest and I had played and hit the number three times that week

So good luck to the winner and in way we are all winners in Maryland because the state picks up alot of money to help roads schools etc etc Sun Smiley

Good Luck to everyone today and always

                Evelyn

Yeah, some guy asked his long estranged wife for a divorce and she asked him if he won the lottery jackpot or something. He said yeah and she went out and hired a lawyer to get half of it and notified the news media and everything.

Then she found out he was kidding.

                  Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.

It was all a big mis-understanding. She thought you only needed to match one number.

Following that line of reasoning, had she hit all six numbers, she would have expected to win the jackpot six times over.

Nice. That would be a total jackpot of $3,840,000,000.00 (Three billion, eight hundred forty million dollars!).  Eek

If that were true, then claiming to have lost the ticket was probably the better way to go considering she's already been humiliated enough.
