I think Leroy Fick and his son were originally from Kentucky.

That's what I heard.

Lol, where have I heard that before?

Don't peopel get tired of watching these epsiodes over and over. Seeing them enjoy their millions while you're here on a a Saturday. How very sad.

I for one do not get tired of watching them over and over. I wish there was a lottery winners stories channel. Now that would be cool

I'm skipping Leroy's. He and his idiot son have got to be the most obnoxious winners the show has featured. Didn't surprise me in the least when he lost it all in no time flat. Made me glad karma found them.

      The Ficks are sheer entertainment.Smile

Watching the marathon now. On the first episode there was man who won $2,785,000.00 and retired. My husband said "This is why I don't understand people who wait for the jackpot to reach $100 million". Any jackpot would be a blessing.

Initially they were like a DNA test on Maury. I was ashamed to watch but I couldn't look away. I watched them thinking no one can really be that dumb and proud of it. I gave them a year to lose all of it. Then when I found out Leroy was still collecting food stamps I just smiled and waited for Karma to nail his @$$. Which it did... in spades. But I still can't watch that episode a second time. They were just too stupid and obnoxious. I think out of all the grate-on-your-nerves winners featured, they were the worst.

I might wake up early and go running.  I might also wake up and win the lottery.

The odds are about the same.

Watching the last show right now.  I didnt really watch the Ficks but flipping channels came back right to the part of the toilet, lol.  And then the son playing Ninja warrior, so very hard to watch that son.

I liked the Oregon winner. still shops at Goodwill and paying it forward.  All the time watching I just realzed if two people are listed on the winning ticket, one can opt for the cash and one for the annuity which I think would be great

Lol, where have I heard that before?

They just have that look about 'em, don't they?

I mean you can tell the old man's attic is kinda dusty the way he shuffles around and mumbles but his son, oh man, you just look in his eyes and you can see his clutch is slippin' real bad.

                              That's textbook Kintucky.
