Adding, just like 99.9% of you won't get by a lightning strike in your lifetime.

A win may seem impossible, but getting struck by lightning can be achieved quite easily.

But can you get struck by lightning while being attacked by a shark?

You're prob right... I'm not playing for the MM jackpot, I play for 5/6 and I will be content when I win.

        SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The odds are even....so to speak.  Somebody or several somebodies win with each drawing.

That somebody just might be me.   However, I agree about saving money.  It is possible to do both

functions; that is, spend a little $$, but save a lot of $$.

My luck is so bad, you can add "while juggling chainsaws" to that list.

Why is Thrifty still an active member of this forum? He constantly discourages people from playing the lottery on a lottery forum. Is he a troll or does he just like wasting his time?

The THRIFTMEISTER is the conscience of Lottery Post.

                He preaches frugality and discipline.

It is said that he is a monk in a very strictly disciplined and regimented cloistered abbey in upstate New York who spends his days building those stupid Adirondack Chairs that are so hard to get out of. It is said that he sat down in one once and was unable to get out of it for two weeks and had to subsist on paint chips scraped from the chair.

                And that's why he's insane.White Bounce

People who play the lotteries has to be old enough to make up their own mind, I doubt if what Thrifty is saying encourages their decisions at all.

That means the chance of any one player winning the MM or PB jackpot is about the same as them being hit by lightning while being attacked by a shark when they were juggling chainsaws.

I enjoy playing occasionally but strictly for entertainment. There are millions who play religiously and truly believe it is set in stone that they will win it big.

These highs and lows eventually starts to take it's toll. A normal human being can only take so much disappointment.

While it's certainly nice to dream, some of us take it too seriously.

I agree Jill. Play for fun. And people should not make excuses and say well I will do this and that if I win. If something only requires your time and effort, start it now.

Right. Thanks to him i was able to save a dollar and contribute to my new "Wheres George" addiction.

Now about those stupid chairs. They are horrible when your buzzed and need a bathroom break. We eventually learned to just roll sideways out of them.
