Sad   But   True      CT

" Niether   a    Borrower  Nor   Lender   Be  ;    For  Loan  Oft   Loses   Both    Itself   and   Friend   "   (  Shakespeare )

" Creditors   Have   Better   Memories   Than   Debtors "      (  Ben  Franklin )

" Before  borrowing   money   from   a   friend    ,  decide  which  you  need  most  "   ( Old   Proverb )

There  are  exceptions  to  the  rules  for  sure   (  but  still ......pretty  good  words  to  live  by  really  )

My  Dad  taught  me  the  same  principles  at  an  early  age  in   Life

His  Country  way  of  saying  and  teaching  it   was    ......    " Don't   live   beyond   your  means "

"  Daddy  never  was  the  Cadillac  kind "

"  He  said  some  things ,  they  just  glitter  and  shine "

"  He  said  Love  was  the  one  thing  money  can't  buy "

" Cause  Daddy  never  was  the  Cadillac  kind "

"  As  they  drove  him  away  in  that  Big   Cadillac "

" With  a  tear in  my  eye  I  had  to  smile "

"  Cause  Daddy  never  was     the  Cadillac  kind "

" He said some things they just  glitter and shine "

" Well  just  this  once  I  hope  Daddy  enjoyed  the  ride "

" Cause  my  Daddy  never  was  ......  the  Cadillac  kind  "

Awesome compilation of quotes, and all of them spot on.

Coin Toss, I think it takes a certain amount of hubris to be given $1,000,000 and actually go back for more. No one should have balls that big. Even if a person is stupid enough to spend through that amount to the extent they have nothing to show for it a few years later, how do they have the nerve to go back to the person who gave it to them in the first place? Someone gives one a million dollars there's no excuse to go back for more.

Doesn't matter how witty and enthralling Judge Judy is, she still wouldn't be rolling in the dough if there weren't people suing each other by the thousands. Just as divorce court wouldn't be in existence if people didn't want to get divorced, and Maury wouldn't have been so popular if people knew who impregnated them. The host/judge/arbitrator may compel you to watch, but it takes the public to actually sue each other for it to happen.

And the number of people lined up to sue others brings us right back to my original post. People lend money and oftentimes don't get it back. Best never to lend what you need returned, because people make all kinds of promises of repayment when they need money but soon forget those promises once they have the funds.

You're the one who brought up the 40,000 sf house, not me.

99.9% of judges don't make 50,000 dollars everytime they show up for work.

You don't have to be a professor in the English language to know that the correct word to use is "Lend".

I hope you know "I" comes before "E", except after "C". Green laugh

      Well isn't that weird?

      See Ya!

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Yes, I brought it up and you opted argue a fairly obvious point. Lawsuits actually have to be filed for the charismatic judges to use them to their advantage. Without those suits, no one would ever have heard of Wapner, Judy, Joe Brown, Alex etc etc etc. What can possibly be so hard to comprehend?

Stop it! I'm laughing so hard you're practically giving me a sEIzure.

I might wake up early and go running.  I might also wake up and win the lottery.

The odds are about the same.

I agree, I hope neither of us have a seizure from laughing so hard.

This is all so foreign to me, I don't understand it either.

Oh well, I think I'll go make a protein shake and drink it at my leisure.

Don't let him over indulge, as he weighs to much already.

If he over indulges too much he might feign an illness.
