There are 12 members playing in the pool and each member contributes $10.00 for Wed. and $10.00 for Sat. game. So, $20.00 a week per person.

This thread is so old rdgrnr and LottoBoner commented on it.

So you play $120 a draw? At $2 a pop, that's 60 lines. 60 lines are too many to fill out bet slips especially for a single game. Since this thread is from May, I am curious if you have been doing quick picks or filling out bet slips.

That money's gone fo ever

It seems safer to play QP. If each player selected a set of numbers and theirs won, you'd see lawsuits trying to get out of splitting the money. "It was my numbers that won. Wah!!!"

Why not play one (or more) of each per draw? I've gotten some pretty lousy QP's in my time, super low-percentage numbers with virtually no chance of winning, so I basically wasted my money. I never rely solely on QP's - I always play at least one of my own numbers per draw.

Why is it too many? Each person could fill out one full playslip of 5 self-picks, which isn't too daunting of a task. Then one person takes all the slips and money to the store to make the plays. Sounds simple enough to me.

PB bet slips in MA allow you a maximum 3 lines. So every player in their pool would have to fill 2 bet slips. With their 12 member pool, those are 24 bet slips No Nod

I am playing QP's for this weekend state lotto and the two multi-state lotto games.  I tried my own numbers in august and lost big time.-weshar75

But isn't longhair from Pennsylvania? I believe they have 5 plays per slip, like a lot of other states.

Personally, I NEVER get involved with lottery pools at work. I only play for myself. Good luck to longhair, though! Dance
