Ola Lobow,

Thank you Lobow Smile

Frankie,

Still trying to work some of this out in programming. It can be confusing.

Take last night's Texas Cash5/37

1,8,18,20,21

Mirrors give us...

6, 3, 3, 5, 6

then we get

6, 16, 26, 36

3, 13, 23, 33

3, 13, 23, 33

5, 15, 25, 35

6, 16, 26, 36

3, 5, 6, 13, 15, 16, 23, 25, 26, 33, 35, 36

Do you have a work around to bring it up to 20 numbers or just play with the 12?

Thanks,

G

My greatest accomplishment is teaching cats about Vienna Sausage. When I need a friend, all I need do is walk outside, pop open a can, and every little critter in the neighborhood drops by to say "Hi!"

    Hello Gary!

    I see why you're confused.

This method works best when all the basis are different, however, there is a way around it when there are less than ideal circumstance.

    For example,

    18182021
    63356

In this case, you will substitute the duplicate numbers...

    63457
    1613141517
    2623242527
    3633343537

I hope this helps Gary! :)

It's better to ask for permission than to beg for forgiveness.

      Excellent Frankie!

Make it more fun by using a random +/-1 in those cases.

      Thanks!

        You're welcomed Gary! :)

        The draw for 11/4/2014 was

        8 - 15 - 17 - 24 - 36

I'm so sorry Sky!!! My time management skills suck!! I had forgot a lot of stuff lately because of being overwhelmed with a school assignment! My husband is giving me grief about forgetting things too. I wish I could multitask! lol

It won't happen again. I'm writing everything down now. :)

Still a work in progress, but working much better. Screenshot.....

First line is an actual DRAW from the Texas Cash5/37. (I wrote the program to input draws from the Texas Cash5 history file so I didn't spent the day typing in numbers to test it.)

Second line 3 5 7 8 5 is the back digits (bases) from the draw.

Third line 8 0 2 3 3 (red circle) is the mirrors with one change. Since the BASES contained two 5s, I allowed the computer to pick a random number to replace the mirror for the second 5. It chose 3 (red circle). (at this point we could have the computer compare the mirrors and replace the 3 with another number, but I haven't found a reason.)

Even with 5 duplicate numbers in our 20 number set there is not one set of duplicates in any combination. All giggity-giggity goo-goo about that.

The only necessary change from the SORTED numbers and the COMBOS was the 0 to a 1. And that is only due to the matrix (1 to 37).

                  So what now?

Well, the first "what now" is a rewrite so numbers can be input from the keyboard. Heh.

The second "what now" may be stupider. Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner.

Let's REM out the "compare and replace mirror with random number statements" and see how the actual mirrors work!

Hey y'all, I wrote this Macro to convert the mirrors for us.  Hopefully it will do some good and save the brain a little work  LOL, just enter the draw numbers in B:3 G:3 and let the Macro do the rest (:.  I am uploading one for 6 balls so for the Cash 5 you only need to use B:F
