It is all smoke and mirrors, to make you think things have, or will change.

why would I think anything needed to be changed? I was fine with the old Mega Millions format. You're the one claiming the lottery is rigged.

The funny thing about these silly debates is that most people on these message boards will never win a jackpot despite spending hours and thousands of dollars a year trying to find some strategy yet the one person from Lottery Post who ever won any significant prize (EZMoney) won $100,000 off powerball on a quick pick.  :/

Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings.  They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed.  And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

you think if someone here won a huge jackpot they'd brag about it on the LP message boards? That person's inbox would be full of people begging for money and people telling them about their hard luck stories.

Some people have been waiting all their lives for bragging rights, If and when it happens, and If they're smart enough NOT to put their personal information on the net, they wouldn't care If their inbox gets blown up. They simply don't respond and move on.

If we go back to when it was announced California was going to become a MM state and there was talk of half a billion dollar jackpots (happened once so far?) many people were all for it, including some here at LP. Just look in the archives.

And now some of the very same people can't stand it when a jp winner is in California.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

            Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                Exactly Coin a Toss.

The problem we have is that some people think that the jackpots are rigged toward CA,NJ,NY,FL - if there was a hint of corruption with the MUSL games, the FBI would be all over this thing faster than a dog could lick a dish.

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it- George Bernard Shaw.

It feels great to have California in multistate games. California contributes a lot of money to the jackpot.
