This system is a real gas.

Have you or can you use "short sums"?  9-5-2 = 16 right digit = 6

Sure, are Short Sums a reliable Filter?

This is the current stats for Short Sums from the last 60 draws from the Virginia Lottery Pick 3 (both day and evening games are used).

Short Sums 0 and 1 are highly ranked to be picked next (this evenings game).

Looking at the current long out short sums:

Combined draws has out short sums... 1-2-7

        In my expert opinion

Short sum 2 or 4 needs to hit

Blackapple - My opinion about what?

I started this thread to get feedback for my Fantastically Amazing Reduction Tool (or F.A.R.T.).  And I only play Virginia Lottery games.

You seem to be hung up on my recent posting of a "short sum" analysis for another poster.  I have never used short sums. I am not convinced of their usefulness.  To me they are the same as root sum, or sum.

I will gladly concede that you are the short sum prognosticator king!

I do have two spreadsheets I use for the F.A.R.T. method.  One tracks all the statistics I use, the other does the filtering. I will post them up soon - they need some cleaning up.

If you have read the paper I've posted, do you use a similar method of mulitple sequential filters to generate your bets for the Pick 3?

              Thanks for your feedback.

                I generating consistent filters... sometimes.

Interested in what your readout gives.

It seems to be a way to take the analysis beyond "due" or longest out by incorporating other factors such as hit frequency into the mix.

What is "N" in your post?

What is "N" in your post?

The labels in the Short sum table I posted are:

D60 - the number of times a short sum was picked in the last 60 drawings (day and evening).

OD - overdue (skips - average skips)

N - Next (or followers some call it) - the number of times a short sum has shown up next after the previous drawing's short sum (for the last 60 draws).

                      H/C - Hot/Cold - Hot (1) = picked > 6 times in last 60 draws, Cold (-1) = less than 6, Neutral (0) = exactly 6.

It does appear that short sum 0 was picked in the Virginia Lottery Pick 3 last night (result was 776 = sum 20 = short sum 0).

I find AHP useful for ranking just about anything, just remember that it is a decision support aid, not a decision maker.  It will not always be right. But it may  help you see choices you may not have considered previously.

                      Thanks for your feedback.

I appologize for that.  I believe it was the size of the movie file that was using too much bandwidth.

I am uploading a smaller version, it is reduced video quality but still legible and cuts the file size by half.  If I reduce it any further, then the data in the spreadsheets is not visible clearly.

I will look at posting it on youtube so that it does not have to be downloaded, just viewed.  I currently do not have a youtube account, so it will take some time.  I'll post again when it is done.
