You have to get the money to the bottom line Net Earnings and have some nice shareholder value! If you invest like that you will always be a winner! It is possible Hertz and Avis can turn around and get to a more solid position and I hope they do. If that happens the stock will go up from its value now and increase hopefully. It is possible these companies can get acquired by another company or a large company could buy a major stake in them. A lot of stuff can happen with a stock and if YOU OWN SHARES then you can go along for a nice ride! You have to have the courage to stay the course as with anything and the desire to save and invest and not spend all your money on good times and cars!      Now Don, who is the voice for Fluffy9999 has worked for businesses in the past that ran into trouble and went under or out of business. Most folks do not know the true condition of the company they are working for even if it is a publicly traded company. When you see bad balance sheet problems, negative earnings, high debt-to-equity ratio this is a company you do not want to invest in or work for. The longer you wait to leave the worse it will be. Right now two of these companies are Avis and Hertz and both are rental car companies. You can find this information online and analysts agree that both of these company stocks have NO SHAREHOLDER VALUE. If you have no knowledge of accounting you do not really understand this. eventually you will not have a job. If these companies get acquired they will likely get rid of management who ran the company into the ground and get new employees. Being acquired means your company is not calling the shots. If you work for a good company like Home Depot you are doing fine as they will stay in business forever. So look into the stock of you company if it is publicly traded or if you are looking for a job check this out if it applies. It is a shame this happens but it does. The microeconomic model confirms this. Only the LOW COST PRODUCER WILL REMAIN AND ALL OTHERS WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS. Hertz unsecured debt is the rating of junk stock. As the credit rating falls it gets more expensive to conduct business. Caught in the spiral going down. Once they default on a bond payment it is all over.

     Don is watching season three of Adam 12 on DVD and he did see it when it originally aired in late 60's through 72. Ths series really is a MASTERPIECE of authentically depicting the life of two POLICE OFFICERS IN LOS ANGELES, CA 1968-1975. As a adult I can see now what being a policeman really is and what is does to you, your family and friends. It is dangerous and anything can happen at any time. I know there have been a lot of really SUPER COPS OUT THERE working hard for us and you really have to appreciate what they are doing for us and what they go through. Once you see something it is with you forever and it changes you as a person. You have to carry it with you forever. Learn to appreciate your local Police and what they are doing for you. A lot of days they sit there and suffer in their minds with what they go through and likely they do not want to trouble anyone by telling them what is bothering them. It is an important job and somebody has to do it. Reed and Malloy were special actors who brough this insight into your living room with Jack Webb and Cinader producing and many other Police Commanders working to make the series an authentic portrayal of police life and their connection to the community. Thank God for all of them and what they created to help us understand. It was much more than entertainment when you look at it through the eyes of an adult.
