Secret retirement plans: Does Obama expect to lose?

Are Obama insiders secretly making retirement plans for the Obamas with the expectation the president will lose his bid for re-election in November?

Very quietly, Obama’s chief financier, Penny Pritzker, has entered the Hawaii housing market to buy a retirement home for the president and his family that will be available not in 2016, but in January 2013, according to a confidential source within Pritzker’s Chicago organization

Pritzker, a wealthy Chicago business executive and heiress to the Hyatt Hotels fortune, served as national finance chairman for Obama’s 2008 campaign and is the co-chairman of his 2012 effort.

The source told WND that highly confidential internal polls conducted by the Obama campaign indicate Obama cannot win re-election, despite public surveys that show him in the lead.

“The public polls are mostly political,” the source argued. “Obama radicals want Romney supporters to feel discouraged and give up. Truth is that Romney’s winning.”

The source further told WND that Pritzker is experiencing frustration in her fundraising efforts, as wealthy donors who contributed generously to Obama in 2008 are not even returning her phone calls.

The source said Pritzker is “reminding everyone how generous to their supporters the Clintons were when they left office.”

“Everything is for sale. Ambassadorships, government grants, stimulus money – you name it,” the source told WND.

“There’s nearly three months between the Nov. 6 election and the Jan. 20 inauguration – plenty of time to hand out goodies to friends from the Oval Office.”

Pritzker is telling potential donors that the Obamas have no intention of returning to Chicago when they leave the White House, according to the source.

She is also raising money for the Obama presidential library and museum, which also are slated for Hawaii.

Pritzker’s search for a developed property, suitable for occupancy four months from now, instead of property where a custom-designed estate might be built, is further indication that insiders believe Obama will not be re-elected.

Obama Took $1M from Liberal Anti-Islam filmmaker

Liberal hypocrisy is sometimes so great, we really need a new word to describe it. Maybe “Obamacrite.” …

With the Islamic violence spreading globally this past week, the Obama Administration has hammered on one point it desperately wants everyone to believe, that it’s all caused by a cheap, homemade anti-Islamic video.

That’s a transparent ruse, but let’s play along for a moment.

The killings, rampages, bombings and violence are NOT the fault of the psychotic Muslims running through the world’s streets with guns and bombs, and they certainly are NOT the fault of the moronic, slipshod management of foreign affairs by the Obama Administration that ignored prior warnings and even refused to take common sense security measures (like loading Marines’ guns with ammo).

All of the violence, including the reported raping and killing of our ambassador, is actually caused by a little, green-screen video that was made in someone’s garage. Never mind all the mystery surrounding the film’s creators, just focus on the one point: It’s all the fault of an anti-Islam film that nobody has seen.

Logically, then, ANY anti-Islam film that has been seen by a lot of people would be even more culpable by magnitudes of order. And if the people allegedly involved in the making of “The Innocence of Muslims” are essentially accessories to murder, rape and rioting, then the makers of a successful anti-Islam film would be even MORE criminally responsible for Mideast violence.

And in our current guilt-by-association climate, anyone who took money from such an Islamophobic filmmaker would be equally guilty of insulting Islam.

Well, if you go back a few years, there was a successful documentary called “Religulous” (supposed to rhyme with “ridiculous”) that criticized Christianity and Islam. DVDs of the film can be bought on Amazon, which is much more than can be said for the White House’s current scapegoat.

The maker of the film is a prominent liberal and critic of conservatives, who donated $1 million to a certain big-mouthed liberal politician. The filmmaker is Bill Maher, and the politician is none other than King Obama.

So the president who is currently pushing the theory that a little film insulting Islam drives the terrorists who are rising up around the world is in fact benefiting from a huge donation from the maker of a popular film that mocks Islam.

Wonder when Obama will return that donation and start a federal manhunt for Bill Maher?

It was in Cairo in June 2009 that President Obama announced he intended to forge a new relationship between the United States and the Middle East. Now we know he was right. Since the start of the so-called Arab Spring, it’s been retreat, humiliation, and now death for Americans, and chaos, danger, and terror for nearly everyone else.

The Middle East is on fire.

In the same city where Obama proclaimed his new policy, a mob has stormed the US embassy and shredded the American flag as they chanted: “We are all Usamas, Obama!” We’ve got an American ambassador and three others dead in Libya, another mob storming the embassy in Yemen, and embassies in Kuwait, Tunsia, and Algeria bracing for the same.

Syria is exploding in a civil war that threatens to draw in Turkey and Lebanon. Since our last troops left Iraq, that country has witnessed a vicious wave of suicide bombings, as well as a surge of Shia extremism. Meanwhile, Iran steadily enriches uranium for its atomic bomb; and the one US ally that dares to threaten Iran’s nuclear nirvana, Israel, gets the back of the hand from this president and his State Department–not to mention Democrats at their national convention.

Still, it’s crucial to understand we’re not just watching the failure of a president or a particular policy. On both foreign and domestic fronts, we’re living the failure of liberalism when it’s not checked.

Understanding the true agenda of liberalism–and I used to be a liberal myself–means grasping that liberalism only really fears two things: free market capitalism and American strength. Publicly liberals blast capitalism for lacking compassion, and for exploiting others for the sake of profit. But what they really fear is prosperity, the wealth capitalism creates that inspires people to assert their rights and disobey the dictates of government and its ruling elite.

That’s why liberals hated Reagan’s economic boom, and why our media and liberal elite aren’t distressed at having millions drop out of the private sector workforce, while unemployment is stuck at 8 percent.

In foreign affairs, liberals bemoan how our “arrogance of power” threatens international peace, and causes suffering and oppression around the world. But what they really fear is that a strong America will frustrate “objectively progressive forces” abroad, and leave it with no ideological allies in its struggle against capitalism here at home.

That’s why liberals were so tepid in their resistance to Communism during the Cold War, and to Islamic extremism today. It’s why they welcomed defeat in the Vietnam war and have done all they can to undermine the war on terror, including in Iraq.

And it’s why the Obama administration and its media allies seized on the Arab Spring, even its Islamist and Muslim Brotherhood garb. Their thinking was sick but simple: The Islamicists may be ignorant wife beaters and murderous thugs. But at least they share the same goal of an impotent America, just as the Soviets did, and the same nightmare: that of a US military base flanked by a McDonalds and a Wal-Mart.

Earlier this week I heard CNN’s Christiane Amanpour assure viewers that democracy in Libya and Egypt were still on track, and that the death of our ambassador and the burning of our flag were nothing to worry about. From her perspective, she’s probably right. For the rest of us, liberalism’s implosion of America at home and abroad is something we need to stop in November.

Forensic profiler: Meet Obama – the 'sandman'

WASHINGTON – An eminent psychiatrist and forensic profiler suggests Barack Obama is “confessing” to the American people who he is and what he wants to do to the country, but most citizens are just not trained to decode his messages.

Dr. Andrew G. Hodges, in his new book “The Obama Confessions,” makes the case that, because of the hurts he experienced in his young life, Obama has overcompensated with a sophisticated communication system that can be understood by reading between the lines of what he says.

What does that decoding reveal?

“Obama reveals the completely secret trauma that controls his life, resulting in his deep misguided fury expressed toward America,” writes Hodges.

To understand Obama, says Hodges, one must see him as “the sandman” – the way he views himself because of the trauma in his life.

It was author and commentator Thomas Sowell who first drew the allusion to Obama as “the sandman.”

“The track record of Obama’s pronouncements on a wide range of issues suggests that anything he says is a message written in sand, and easily blown away by the next political winds.”

But Obama has referred to himself as “the sandman.” What does he mean?

At a Jan. 19 fundraiser at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater, Obama took to the stage toward the end of the evening and broke out in song.

“It had been a particularly musical occasion and the president’s appearance followed several performers including soul singer the Rev. Al Green, whom Obama acknowledged,” Hodges explains in his book. “But the entertainers were expected to sing – Obama was only expected to speak. Without warning, however, he delivered a surprisingly pleasing falsetto lyric, ‘I’mmm … sooo in love with you’ – the opening line from Green’s 1972 hit ‘Let’s Stay Together.’ Not believing their ears, the audience bursts into applause. After the ovation subsides, Obama takes it all in, then hesitantly glances toward his staff off stage right. Talking directly to them but also to America, he blurts out, ‘Those guys didn’t think I would do it. I told you I was going to do it.’”

But Obama added a comment most reporters missed.

“The sandman did not come out,” Obama said. “Now don’t worry, I can’t sing like you, but I just wanted to show my appreciation.”

Hodges says “the sandman” did indeed come out that night – and it was Obama, because that’s how he sees himself. It’s part of a pattern in his speech of denying the truth, saying the opposite of what he means.

“Blatant denials often imply the exact opposite – especially following Obama’s emphasis on overcoming denial – suggesting ‘the sandman did come out tonight.’ Indeed, he’s saying, ‘I am the sandman who came out on the stage tonight.’”

What is “the sandman” metaphor all about?

“The vivid image initially suggests something soft and yielding, something lacking a solid foundation,” explains Hodges. “There are other immediate possibilities, but in fact he leads in this very direction of weakness and something not real, not strong – something lacking in character – such as a president who would flippantly take a dare. Also ‘coming out tonight’ suggests coming out with a secret. Is he advising us to look closely at his character and ask fundamental questions to unearth the secret? Surely the character question also fits with telling Americans he has done something unimaginable, gotten elected president in spite of major character flaws.”

Previously, that same evening, Obama denied what he would do – insisting, “I’m not going to sing.” Then he sang. Then he insisted “the sandman” did not come out.

What does all this mean? Hodges writes:

In a Fathers’ Day speech on June 15, 2008, Obama addressed the congregation of the Apostolic Church in Chicago. This wasn’t just any Fathers’ Day but one on which he was campaigning to be America’s leader – the father of our nation.

Obama delivered the speech virtually spontaneously, almost off the cuff, and – on such a personal day for him – he surely wrote it himself. He opens with a striking story, a New Testament parable no less. At the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus closes by saying, “Whoever hears these words of mine, and does them, shall be likened to a wise man who built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock.”

But Obama stops there, leaving out the second part of the parable about foolish builders erecting a house on a foundation of sand, but he refers to it extensively by implication – the centerpiece of his speech: “Now everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand: and the rains came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.”

A violent storm challenges the foundation of both houses. The home built on rock stands while the home built on sand collapses. Underscoring this parable on Fathers’ Day, Obama depicts fathers as crucial builders of homes, men who structure their children’s very foundations.

And he particularly emphasizes a son’s foundation. “Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives,” Obama tells us, “we are reminded today … that family is the most important. And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.”

Obama then goes on to talk about his own absentee father.

“Obama compares two types of fathers, the involved father who builds solid-rock foundations in his kids and the absent father who builds weak foundations for his children, foundations ‘made of sand,’” writes Hodges. “Yet Obama, by omitting the second part of the biblical parable, shows that he simply cannot bring himself to say the words ‘sand foundation.’ Why? For him, that phrase hits too close to home.”

Obama continues: “I know what it means to have an absent father.”

“His words strongly suggest that the parable could be titled ‘How Obama Sr. built Obama Jr.,’” writes Hodges. “He was unconsciously pressured to tell us about that absent father, the foolish builder who left him with a worrisome foundation. Obama makes repeated scathing references to absent fathers – selfish, unavailable, irresponsible, immature, and destructive. He underscores lost boys who have no father to show them how to be a man. He then describes how such absent fathers produce sons with ‘behavioral problems’ which mirror their own. In short, Obama tells us that he is the sandman son of a sandman father, a father who failed to build a solid foundation of character in him but instead left him with nothing but sand inside. Obama in essence warns America that he would be like his father, lacking in integrity and prone to bad behavior which undermined the community. This according to the role model rule Obama so carefully establishes.”

Hodges continues: “Between the lines Obama has verified that an extremely painful trauma constantly lives inside of him. It doesn’t take much to reopen such a wound – ‘a hole’ in himself created by his absent father. That’s exactly what Obama later labeled it, ‘a hole,’ an emptiness within his inner self. Right off he has revealed the motivations that have controlled him his entire life. At the same time, he remains consciously in denial about his personal pain.”

Who is Hodges to draw such conclusions?

He has identified killers by studying ransom notes, emails, letters and police interviews to spot secret confessions. He decoded O.J. Simpson’s “suicide note” to confirm he had committed a double murder. He deciphered the JonBenet ransom note to identify the child’s killer. He studied statements by Joran van der Sloot and Deepak Kalpoe to tie them to the slaying of Natalee Holloway. He showed how Casey Anthony secretly confessed to killing her daughter in 200 letters written to a jail mate. He even decoded Bill Clinton’s Lewinsky confession-apology on TV, revealing the awful pain which led to Clinton’s self-sabotaging behavior. Hodges employs a unique psycholinguistic technique he calls “ThoughtPrint Decoding” to “read between the lines” of people’s statements – called “the cutting-edge of forensic science” by expert investigators.

Hodges examines Obama’s entire life story from his controversial and mysterious birth, to his Muslim childhood, to his earliest indoctrination by radical left-wing activists and finally to his historic ascension to the White House.

“Wherever we look, Obama demonstrates another major boundary violation – more disruption of America’s foundation,” explains Hodges. “His inaugural address again foreshadows the specific boundary he will attack next – in another caution to America. Here he repeatedly insisted on the preeminence of the rule of law and the Constitution, ‘Our Founding Fathers … drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man. … Those ideals still light the world.’”

It sounds good – on the surface. But that’s not what Obama meant, suggests Hodges. He meant exactly the opposite and was telegraphing, in Obama code, that he would follow a path that is the opposite of was the Founders had in mind.

“Of course, Obama himself remains in denial about the full extent of his intentionally destructive motivations, but we can be sure he is consciously aware of significant deception,” says Hodges. “There is a famous phrase therapists use that applies here; we employ it to describe unconsciously intentional motives and actions: ‘accidentally on purpose.’”

Hodges contends Obama’s mind is secretly a master at describing such motives.

Obama-CPUSA3An Obama campaign supporting website recent touted Barack Obama’s “accomplishments,” but it wasn’t an actual Barack Obama campaign site. It was the Communist Party USA site.

Here’s the endorsement of one Barack Hussein Obama in an article titled “Why vote?”

The biggest dirty trick of all is fooling voters into thinking there is no difference. The huge voter surge in 2008 elected President Barack Obama, the first African American president. In the face of non-stop opposition, he pushed through:

  • Affordable Health Care Act extends coverage to 35 million uninsured people, outlaws denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions and extends until age 26 coverage of children under their parents plans.
  • Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act for equal pay for women.
  • Stabilized the economy with $789 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that saved or created 3 million jobs. Invested billions in clean energy jobs, saved the auto industry.
  • Unemployment benefits for millions of workers despite Republican threats to shut down the government. Obama was forced to yield on Bush-era tax cuts for the rich that he wanted to terminate.
  • Appointed two women to the U.S. Supreme Court, including the first Latina woman, who support the rights of working people.
  • Established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and used a recess-appointment to name the director over Republican opposition.
  • Created a new food safety agency to protect people from food-borne illness.
  • Ended profit-grab by private banks on students loans, reestablishing Federal control on these loans and used the savings to extend loans to more students.
  • Doubled the funding for Pell Grants to $32 billion, increasing size of the grant $819 to a maximum of $5,500.
  • Ended the war in Iraq and moved toward ending the war in Afghanistan.

Before providing the above “accomplishments” they issued a warning:

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and many others, died for a most precious human right, the right to vote. Now, the same racists who denied Black voters ballot rights in the 1960s are trying to keep voters from the polls in 2012.

In the old days, they called it a “poll tax.” They rode at night and wore white sheets. Today, they wear expensive suits. But they still steal elections by cutting off early voting, by imposing photo ID requirements that poor voters can’t afford. It’s called “voter suppression.”

It will take a fight to defeat these dirty tricks. Voter suppression tactics violate the letter and spirit of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Everything from sit-ins to mass rallies on state capitol steps are called for.

Ask yourself if this rhetoric we read on the Communist Party’s website doesn’t sound identical to the Democrat’s rhetoric we have been hearing for years. It’s because Allen West was right when he blew the whistle on the number of Democrats in the Congress that are actually Communists.

The CPUSA has endorsed Obama on several occasions. There are two examples where this has been pointed out: Here and here.

Daren Jonescu writes,

We must not allow the extreme rhetoric in which the endorsement is couched to distract us from a more fundamental issue, which is this: the CPUSA endorses Barack Obama on the very same grounds — even in the same words — that Obama uses in defense of himself.

If a communist were operating under the official umbrella of the Democratic Party, and were thus forced to use Democrat talking points rather than speak his own radical mind, we would interpret this as typical leftist cynicism and subterfuge. But this time the words appear on the CPUSA’s own website. These are the words the official voice of international communism in America is choosing to use to explain its reasoning to its own target audience. No one visiting the CPUSA site is confused about the nature of the organization. The website’s slogan is “Radical Ideas. Real Politics.” The Party’s prominently displayed self-description appears just under the Obama endorsement:

A better and peaceful world is possible — a world where people and nature come before profits. That’s socialism. That’s our vision. We are the Communist Party USA.

The issue here is not to point out guilt by association. Rather one must ask themselves why the Communist Party not only supports Obama’s policies, but they encourage their own members to support Barack Obama. There can only be one answer to that: his policies are like the slogan on their website: “Radical ideas. Real politics.” In other words, his policies align with those of the Communist Party, by their own claims.

This is not a right wing publication endorsing Obama. It’s the Communist Party USA.

I’m sure the Democrats would love to keep this under wraps and not herald the fact that their nominee has been endorsed by Communists, but apparently Communism feels right at home in the Democrat Party, so much so that they endorse their nominee.

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not
ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard
working American people for paying $242 thousand
dollars for my vacation in Spain.

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends,
my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time.
Sasha also had a great time in Mexico on Spring break
with thirteen of her friends and secret service protection.
Thanks so much.

Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed
in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.

Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two
and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged
along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.
By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol,
I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant
in Marbella, great lobster with rice and oysters!
I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty,
but what can you do if you're not in Europe? You have to just grin and bear it.

Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate
according to Government Accounting Office reports)
only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip
and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2.

These are only rough estimates, but they are close.
That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend
Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American
citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and
drive less too, so we can lessen our combined
carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling
to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet.
So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you
find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family
on a luxury vacation in Maine a fe w weeks ago.
I just had to get away for a few days.

Only reason you need to vote out obama

Over the last four years, I have catalogued hundreds of reasons Barack Obama is a disaster for this country.

I mean it quite literally when I say that another four years of Obama will result in the fall of the USA as we have known it since it became a true, functioning nation with a working government 223 years ago.

But there is one reason we will never have true representative government, again, if he is re-elected. In fact, should he “win” re-election in November, we may learn we were too late to avert his revolution against it.

That reason he must be defeated is “legalized” voter fraud.

What do I mean by “legalized” voter fraud?

It comes in many forms – voter intimidation, organized ACORN-style registration efforts, “dead” voters, etc. But the grand lollapalooza, the irreversible destruction of representative government of the kind this nation has striven for since its founding, will come when voter identification laws are eradicated systematically, as the Obama administration has been doing throughout its first term.

Think about this.

You are required to show identification to do lots of things in the United States. To name a few:

  • travel by air;
  • get a driver’s license;
  • register your child for school;
  • register your child for organized sports;
  • open a bank account;
  • even some buying of necessities with a credit card;

But the Obama administration claims it is racist and a matter of intentional voter suppression to require identification to vote.

I want you to ask yourself if that makes sense.

Why do you suppose the Obama administration – and, in fact, the entire Democratic Party establishment – wants to delegitimize and ban simple voter identification laws?

There is only one logical, plausible reason. You know it. And I know it. The reason is to fix future elections – to rig them, to stuff the ballots with illegitimate votes by non-citizens by non-eligible participants.

That’s why this election will either be the last legitimate election or the one in which we learn we were too late to save representative government in America from people determined to trash it forever.

Last week, the Democrats held their national convention in Charlotte, N.C. Not only did the Democrats require photo identification to get into the Bank of America Stadium where the event was held, police officials required it just to get near the arena.

Requiring photo ID makes sense, of course, for security reasons. Nobody holding an event wants party crashers. But what about national security? Should we not, as a nation, be concerned that the sacred choice of our elected officials who are in charge of national security be chosen by legally eligible voters? Or should we just let ballots be cast by anyone who shows up with no concern for who they are and how many times they vote?

Can you believe there is even a debate about this in America? The fact that we are having it illustrates just how many so-called Americans have lost their ability to think clearly.

But what should we expect from Obama, who himself refuses to release personal information as basic as school records, papers he has written, health history, passport and travel documents, etc. And let’s not forget about that birth certificate. He refused for three years to release it to prove he himself was constitutionally eligible for office. When he finally offered up what he claimed was his legitimate long-form document, it was found by the only law-enforcement investigation that examined it to be fraudulent.

Like I said, there are hundreds of reasons this election is the most important in American history. But the one imperative is to ensure America’s future as a legitimate, constitutional representative republic.

  Democrats convened in Charlotte , NC , will double down on their  claim that Bain Capital is really the Bain crime family. They will accuse Republican nominee Mitt Romney and Bain’s other “greedy” co-founders of stealing their winnings, evading taxes and lighting cigars with $100 bills on their yachts.

But Bain’s private-equity executives have enriched dozens of organizations and millions of individuals  in the Democratic base  — including some who scream most  loudly for President Obama’s re-election.

  Government-worker pension funds are the chief beneficiaries of Bain’s economic stewardship. New York-based Preqin uses public documents, news accounts and Freedom  of Information requests to track private-equity holdings. Since 2000, Preqin reports,    the following funds have entrusted some $1.56 billion to Bain:

  * Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund ($2.2 million)

* Indiana Public Retirement System ($39.3 million)

* Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System ($177.1 million)

* The Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System ($19.5 million)

* Maryland State Retirement and Pension System ($117.5 million)

* Public Employees’ Retirement System of Nevada ($20.3 million)

* State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio ($767.3 million)

* Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System ($231.5 million)

* Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island ($25 million)

* San Diego County Employees Retirement Association ($23.5 million)

* Teacher Retirement System of Texas ($122.5 million)

* Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System ($15 million)

  These funds aggregate the savings of millions of unionized teachers, social workers, public-health personnel and first responders. Many would be startled to learn  that their nest eggs are incubated by the company that Romney launched and the financiers he hired.

Leading universities have also profited from Bain’s expertise. According to Infrastructure Investor, Bain Capital Ventures Fund I (launched in 2001) managed wealth  for “endowments and foundations such as Columbia , Princeton and Yale universities.”

  According to BuyOuts magazine and S&P Capital IQ, Bain’s other college clients have included Cornell, Emory, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Notre Dame  and the University of Pittsburgh . Preqin reports that the following schools have placed at least $424.6 million with Bain Capital between 1998 and 2008:

* Purdue University ($15.9 million)

* University of California ($225.7 million)

* University of Michigan ($130 million)

* University of Virginia ($20 million)

* University of Washington ($33 million)

Major, center-left foundations and cultural establishments also have seen their prospects brighten, thanks to Bain Capital. According to the aforementioned sources,  such Bain clients have included the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Doris Duke Foundation, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ford Foundation, the Heinz Endowments and the Oprah Winfrey Foundation.

Why on Earth would government-union leaders, university presidents and foundation chiefs let Bain oversee their precious assets?

“The scrutiny generated by a heated election year matters less than the performance the portfolio generates to the fund,” California State Teachers’ Retirement  System spokesman Ricardo Duran said in the Aug. 12 Boston Globe. CalSTRS has pumped some $1.25 billion into Bain.

Since 1988, Duran says, private-equity companies like Bain have outperformed every other asset class to which CalSTRS has allocated the cash of its 856,360 largely  unionized members.

Is Bain really a gang of corporate buccaneers who plunder their ill-gotten gains by outsourcing, euthanizing feeble portfolio companies and giving cancer to the  spouses of those whom they fired? If so, union bosses, government retirees, liberal foundations and elite universities thrive on the wages of Bain’s economic Darwinism.

  If, however, these institutions relish the yields that Bain Capital generates by supporting start-ups and rescuing distressed companies, 80 percent of which  have prospered, then this money is honest — and Team Obama isn’t.

NASA to hire obama...

The Democratic National Convention has ended and I can’t tell you how glad I am to have that over with.  All I’ve heard is one exaggeration and lie after another.  Next to blaspheming the name of God, lying is the one thing that I cannot and will not tolerate.

If a person habitually exaggerates and lies, how can you trust what comes from the heart?

If a person habitually exaggerates and lies, how can you tell if and when they ever tell the truth?

If a person habitually exaggerates and lies, how could anyone follow his leading?

Obama claims we are better off now than we were four years ago.  He cites healthcare.  Obamacare has driven up the cost of health insurance.  It has restricted effective medical treatment and is forcing thousands of private practice physicians to close their doors.

Obama claims that he will not increase taxes on the middle class.  Obamacare has a number of hidden tax increases that will affect everyone and most likely hit the middle class, seniors and those living in poverty the hardest.  I’ve seen estimates that range from $1500 to $3000 a year in tax increases that are the result of Obamacare and you bet your bottom dollar that he knows they are in the law.  The number of uninsured Americans is rising at an alarming rate because they cannot afford the higher cost for less coverage.

Obama claims we are better off because he saved General Motors from bankruptcy.  The stimulus package they pushed through Congress was $800 billion dollars and all Obama can say about it was that he saved General Motors.  What about the rest of America?

Obama claims he has created several million jobs, when in reality it is less than a million when balanced with the number of jobs lost.  His 43 consecutive months of unemployment of 8% or higher is the worst employment record in this history of our nation.  His unemployment figures are worse than those of the Great Depression.

Obama claims he will stem the tide of global warming and replace fossil fuels with environmentally friendly forms of energy.  He has spent billions of taxpayer dollars for one failed green project after another.  At the same time, he stops the Keystone XL pipeline which would have created 10,000 new jobs.  He continues to block efforts to tap into vast oil and natural gas reserves in Alaska and off our shores.

Obama claims that Mitt Romney’s business experience is one of closing American businesses and outsourcing jobs overseas.  He intentionally focuses on a few instances where that happened while failing to mention the majority of the instances that helped to create thousands of jobs here in America.  At the same time Obama accuses Romney of outsourcing jobs overseas, the Obama lead administration has done the very same thing by awarding defense contracts to overseas companies and spending billions of dollars of stimulus money on overseas projects and jobs.  Through Obamas immigration policy, he is allowing nearly a million illegal aliens to obtain work permits so they can take jobs away from American citizens.

Obama brags that he killed Osama bin Laden.  He makes it sound as if he was there in Pakistan and it was he who pulled the trigger.  He hasn’t told the public that he cancelled the raid on bin Laden three times before he had the guts to give the order.  There were hundreds of people involved in the raid on bin Laden and the only thing Obama did was say ‘yes’.

Obama claims that America is better off than we were 4 years ago, yet:

  • There are millions more families living at poverty level than ever before.
  • Nearly 15 million more Americans are relying on food stamps than when Obama took office.
  • Our national debt has increased over 50%.
  • Our federal credit rating has been downgraded for the first time in history.
  • America has become the laughing stock of much of the world, especially with Muslim nations.

If President Barack Obama were to be like the storybook character Pinocchio, whose nose grew when he told a lie, NASA would be hiring Obama in a heartbeat because his nose would have already stretched to the moon and probably be well on its way to Mars by now.

Biden: We saved Detroit

He is delusional. Here's the rest of the story:

Columnist Michelle Malkin points out, "GM still owes nearly $30 billion of the $50 billion it received, and its lending arm still owes nearly $15 billion of the more than $17 billion it received." According to National Legal and Policy Center's Mark Modica, that doesn't include foreign investment: "In addition to U.S. taxpayers anteing up, Canada put in over $10 billion, and GM was relieved of about $28 billion of bondholder obligations while UAW claims were protected. That's an improvement of almost $90 billion to the balance sheet, and the company still lags the competition." In fact, GM could file for bankruptcy again.
Just how bad are sales? National Review's Kevin D. Williamson sums it up: "It is true that sales have improved at U.S. makers -- but those increases have far lagged the increases seen by overseas competitors such as Volkswagen and Kia. GM's August sales are up about 10 percent over last year; Kia's are up 21 percent. Volkswagen is up 37 percent. Hell, Porsche is up 40 percent. ... The Democrats are not exactly telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but when it comes to the auto bailout." Some recovery!
