New Jersey Lottery officials say there are seven winning tickets sold for the record Jersey Cash 5 jackpot worth nearly $2 million.

Two of the tickets were sold in Atlantic County. The others were purchased in Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Monmouth and Union counties.

The numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 4, 5, 17, 18 and 21. The total jackpot was $1,964,438.

Each winning ticket is worth $280,634.

Jersey Cash 5's average jackpot is $300,000. Lottery officials say sales from Jersey Cash 5 last year were just under $126 million.

Four of the winning tickets sold in southern N.J.

Four out of seven winning tickets in Tuesday night's record $1.9 million Jersey Cash 5 lottery drawing were sold in southern New Jersey.

Two of the lucky slips were purchased in Atlantic County.  One was sold at the Dover Market on Ventnor Avenue in Atlantic City while the other was issued at the 7-11 convenience store on Tilton Road in Cardiff.

In Cumberland County, a winning ticket was purchased at Clark's Liquor Store on West Main Street in Millville.

The other winning southern New Jersey ticket was purchased in Gloucester County at an Acme Supermarket in Swedesboro.

The remaining three tickets were sold in Neptune, Monmouth County; Newark, Essex County; and Elizabeth, Union County.

According to a news release issued by the New Jersey Lottery, the retailers who sold the winning tickets will receive a bonus check for $750.

More than 15,000 other players won $366,468 in cash prizes in Tuesday night's drawing.

Somehow either it's rigged so more winners come up in South Jersey or somehow they are overcoming the sales volume of big cities like Newark, Paterson, Jersey City, etc. COMBINED. 4 vs. 3 in this case BUT seems like everytime I read about a big winner it's so far south they must be claiming the prize in scuba gear.
