Yes, which is why I didn't post that nobody on Earth is worse off than me and/or that everyone else has a wonderful life, free of problems.

Very sorry for how your life is Frank, you are not alone.  I wish the best for you and will say a prayer.  It is also my hope for more civility from others on this board.

I know that. Technically, I haven't asked anyone for anything. One person I've known a long time who has a comfortable living, lent me a small amount of $$$ three months ago because he knew of my situation. He offered it though, I didn't ask. It's like those lottery winner stories we've probably all read, of people asking them for money with their tales of woe. What happens? Most of the time by far, they aren't given any money, but rather, if someone wants to help someone out, they offer it instead of giving it when being asked for it. That's how I'd be as a lottery winner as well, much more open to me offering to help someone instead of them coming to me saying "can I have......"

for crying out loud frank12449 all you have to do is find an overweight or unattractive woman with mucho cash and court and spark her into marriage. that's your only out. think outside the box about where you can find one. start with churches, bingo halls, or lonely hearts clubs. think frank, there are ways out of your situation (not the powerball jackpot) and the easiest and simplest route is what men and especially women have done for centuries. marry money plain and simple.

I agree with Thrifty and wanted to say thanks for taking care of 3 kitties as well. There are a lot of rescue groups that can help you with litter and food if need be (or even a referral from an animal shelter).  Good luck on the PB drawing.

Is there some rule I think I read on here about not posting URL's? I wanted to post a youtube link to video of my 3 very sweet cats, but I'm not sure if it's allowed or not.

Thanks but, I leave it up to random quick pick luck. I've hit 4 of 6 numbers in sweet million, 5 times in the last 2 years, which pays $40 each time. The odds of that are about 1 in 400. Each time I get 1 set of QP numbers, so that's just over 200 plays in 2 years. "On paper", it should take about 2000 weeks (20 years) to hit that 5 times. The nylottery page lets you search your numbers for past drawings, and each time I won, past drawings were only 3 numbers for $3, or no winning at all. I have my $1 sweet million QP for tonight, and I hold a lot more hope that I'll win $660,000 after taxes tonight, as opposed to winning Powerball on Wednesday.

That being said, "lady luck" seriously needs to smile down on me. I've had the worst time by far of my life since 2009, and I'm now at critical mass for survival. I was married 10 years, never cheated, never hit her (or any woman), didn't do drugs nor was foolish with our modest dual income (about $60,000 combined per year), but she walked out on me without saying a word in 5/09 and flew 3000 miles away to be with an old childhood BF she hadn't seen in 25 years. I completely fell apart emotionally from that in 2009. I was too out of it to even keep working, lost my job of 6 years. We had a house with a 30 year mortgage that she actually pushed for, not me, with both of our names on it. I couldn't find a roommate or another job so a few months after she left, I had to move out, I put the house on the market which didn't sell, and the bank foreclosed. We both had perfect credit prior to that which is of course since ruined. At least she got crucified in the divorce when she stood in front of the judge in a nevada courtroom and I was on speaker phone here. She got next to nothing instead of a 50/50 split, because the judge didn't like that she abandoned a house with a mortage due of almost 150k, from a long term marriage in which her physical safety was never in jeopardy. I never heard her voice again, let alone saw her, after the divorce in 12/09. I have no family, no kids. The couple of close friends I had prior to getting together with her in 1999, all got married and had kids since then and don't really have any time for me. I've been living in a small studio apt for $700 per month rent (NY state is expensive) and was working making only $11.50 per hour. Then I lost my job in 4 months ago for false reasons, was also denied unemployment, and now I'm on food stamps, haven't been able to get another job yet. I'm "overqualified" for minimum wage based on my past jobs, but jobs in the area of what I've done, are few and far between. I also lost my car in 2011, which the ex also wanted in 2008, a year before she left. I was only able to keep up on the $300 monthly payment from summer '09 until last year, then I lost the car too. I've been walking or taking the local bus to limited areas since then. This also severly limits which jobs I've even been able to apply to because it needs to be on the bus route or within walking distance (last job was only 1.6 miles from here). I paid August and September rent, but didn't have enough $$$ left to pay from October until now. The landlord gave me an eviction notice on 11/1, legally I won't be forced out until January but, it doesn't really matter right now because I have less than $100 left to my name. Food stamps don't pay for cat food and litter for my 3 cats, or other non-food items. I've already sold the cd's and dvd's I had at FYE in the mall for about a buck each on average, I don't have anything left to sell that anyone wants. So.....yeah, this is it. Win it all now in the lottery, or else I'm toast.  Unhappy

I sincerely hope you make it out of your problems Frank. Good luck. I hope you win it all and I get second prize, I don't want or need $400+ million. A million is good enough for me. No one will come looking for me or care, which is fine by me.

You're not the 1st person to suggest that, and I've actually had that opportunity, but I choose not to do it. Just a couple of months ago, a nice women that I met, but I'm not attracted to, made it clear she was attracted to me and offered to help me with rent.....I just don't believe in using someone financially and having sex with them for that reason, when otherwise I wouldn't. Technically it's prostitution which doesn't appeal to me. Plus, I don't believe in being a hypocrite. One of the things that bothered me most about when my ex wife left for someone else, is that she was texting him, etc behind my back for quite some time, she had already made up her mind that she didn't want to be with me anymore, but she stayed silent about it, effectively using me for my half of our income. She could have at least done the noble thing and moved out on her own, but she didn't want to be alone, or try to support herself financially alone. So, she put me in that exact position when she left by doing to me, what she chose not to put herself in.
