I don't see how bigger jackpots for Megabucks are going to be that enticing or exciting when they wouldn't be anywhere near the truly big MegaMillions jackpots. Even if they managed to double the sales and size of the jackpot, it would only increase $300,000-400,000 a drawing. Nice if you can get it, but it's not $85 million. Sure they can increase the number of balls and have bigger jackpots by having week after week go by without a winner - like they already do now, only more drawn out and boring - but the slow creep of a jackpot over months and months isn't an improvement. They'll need to find some other attraction for a revised Megabucks, like much bigger lower prizes.
