Should Gloria Share With Mindy?
Ronnie, I really hope you consult an attorney if you ever win a big JP. There is no basis for a legal claim here and the judge would dismiss the matter with prejudice. There is no basis in case law or equitable relief to support a claim nor was there any type of verbal contract. That is not how the judicial system works.

Should Gloria Share With Mindy?
How bout... You can keep my place in line if you will share whatever you win That would have created a verbal contract if the old lady agreed, and there were plenty of witnesses.

California Never Wins Powerball-Why?
Good luck to California joining Powerball. California's lotto sales are pari-mutuel and they're different than all of the other states combined. My California Super Lotto Plus contract has already expired.

Lotto Pools - Best Tips?
The way I run mine is we play for a certain amout of draws, our case its 26 draws. twenty shares. you can buy as many shares as you want. All money is paid up front, then we play after everyone is paid up. Contract explains who owns how many shares, get the idea?

Welfare lottery ban
When they sign up for food stamps and welfare and all the other free stuff, they should make them sign a contract that they will never play the lottery or benefit from the lottery in anyway while they are receiving benefits from the taxpayers or for 2 years after benefits stop. And any large jackpots won after that go to paying back any benefits ever received before they get what's left.

Would you keep your word??
BB: Many oral/verbal contracts are difficult to enforce. In this case, there is no consideration for the oral contract so it would not likely be enforced.

Why do people give away their lottery system?
Better yet why not sign a contract with system owner to share 20% of your winnings for the next month with a promise to play every game as instructed by the owner to give his system its best chance of winning.
