Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
Assuming what you're refering to as a Progressive betting system is what is sometimes called the Martingale, I think you might finally like one of my posts, at least the first part of it. You're confused again because the wins using Steve Player's progressive betting strategy are never small as in the Martingale strategy Bluejay explained. Just winning three of Steve Player type progressive pick-3 bets nets a player $29,400 on a $31 bet. The odds of doing it are better than betting any Roul

Has anyone tried the Robert Walsh Pick 3 or 4 Lottery System?
How to win with Roberts system takes A LOT of work. You will have to backtest to see which strategies are the most popular in your state and just focus on that. If you try to use all of the strategies, you will go crazy. I am in DC, and I have the Pick 4 book. I have won (and could have won more had I figured this out earlier). In his Pick 4 book, the strategies 7-11 and TOC hit the most. For his Pick 3 book, I couldn't do anything with it in DC. Backtest like 6 months and play the 2 strateg

Steve Player Systems
Anyone can claim the system they are selling is profitable, but the systems we usually hear about are without any explanations of how to use them. Gail Howard uses testimonies from players using her wheels, but that is no help determining which numbers to put into the wheel. From what I've read, the Steve Player group systems are more about betting strategies than picking numbers. One system claimed over a $5000 monthly profit if the player could accurately pick one digit several times a month i

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
VISIONDUDE ok, so the words consistentcy and profit aren't included in a systems user's terminology, but they should be, if it worked in my mind, and in the collective minds of skeptical people, as we are attempting to establish truth about this. ( Consistency and Profit applies if a player is willing too spend the $$$$ and that would require money the average player doesn't have too spend.Players that do hit more than chance are spending anywhere from $40-$50 but for POSSIBLE consistanc

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
VISIONDUDE No matter what you say no one is gonna stop using sytems that work for them your just mad because NOTHING works for you when was the last time you won anything??? using a quick-pick??? systems and strategies do work otherwise no one would be using them you think they do it just because they have nothing better too do?? your criteria for what a winning system is has no bearing on what system players consider a working strategy if they never won a dime using other methods but win usi

Robert Walsh Question
I just recently purchased the book Play Win Daily Pick 4 with Big Cash Winning Numbers , by Robert Walsh, from Amazon. After reading through the book, personally, I DO feel that it was a worthwhile investment. A few of the strategies may be familiar, however, if you take the time to focus on applying all of the different Pick 4 strategies to one primary Pick 4 game, to see which ones work the best for your particular state, a Light Bulb may turn on in the back of someone's mind. A lot of

Hi just had a question?
Welcome to LP Have you tinkered with/followed the NY Numbers (Pick 3) and WIN 4 (Pick 4) games? Sometimes when you start small and get a handle on understanding and finding strategies that work with the smaller games you can transfer that knowledge to the higher odds games.

Strategies: I'm new to the game in more ways than one
I lived in Hawaii for three long, boring decades. There was always talk of a lottery there, but the big powerful politicians did a good job of keeping it out of the state. Last I heard, Utah and Hawaii are the only two states that are lotteryless (is that a word)? Anyway, I recently moved to Florida (not because it's a lottery state)! Since moving to FL, I purchased a few groupers (mixed bag of: One pick 3 straight Cash Three, pick 4 straight Play Four, two of the 5/36 Fantasy Fives, One Mega

LottoBible, single state hit ratio
Hi, This is my first post. I've been reading here and testing pick strategies, playing around with a 2-point graph for studying historical trendlines in the Oklahoma Pick 3, referencing the LottoBible for picks, and generally daydreaming about winning. The results I've seen here for the amount of hits when playing all of the state's pick 3's are impressive on the surface, but maybe a bit impractical for a single state player such as myself. The odds of getting a hit from
