Whats the most youve spent for one draw date?
To answer the original question, the most i spent on 5/39 on one draw was 31 dollars where i played banker number 11, and i got it right i got one 3/5 win and approximately 10 2/5 correct. (free plays, which are then donated to the nevada showgirls association of america) i have gone a little over board in 6/40 playing 60 dollars on a draw which was a wash. I use my own wheel with parameters. Wheeled mostly by intuition and not conditions or wheel guarantees. I usually win o

Lottery and the legality of Gambling?
Jomacinrow, For the moment forget the fact that some states have sold their lotteries to private firms (but the state of course still gets a bite). Take a state like Georgia, lotto but no casinos (I'm guessing from your post). Who owns the lottery and gets the profits? Georgia. Now let's say they legalized casinos, like Mississipppi for example) and who owns those casinos? Isle of Capri, Harrah's, the Horseshoe, etc.... Who owns the casinos and gets the profits? The casinos,

When will I win the lotto??
yepper! We in Washington are very fortunate that we do not get the government we pay for. They are now taxing candy and soda pop and if you smoke or chew, the tax on that stuff makes a pack or a can over $9.00. Real-estate is on par with California now because the rat-race stampede of the California rush moved north over 20 years ago. Gridlock is unbelievable even in small towns. The result is California has infested Oregon, Washington and Idaho to the north. Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona to

If you won a jackpot, how mcuh would you give to your parents?
KYFloyd There's nothing grey about it. You are giving them something of value without asking for something of similar value in return That's the exact same agrgument Nevada casino dealers used with the IRS in trying to keep yips from being taxed. Didn't work. It was called the Wendell Oakes case. At first the dealers won, then it was appealed and the arguemtn above was thrown out. Oakes was a dealer at the time at the Las Vegas Hilton. The IRS had agents hangin out in the casino, p

An Ethical Dilemma...
If the person that had the credits in the machine was still there I'd tell them. I'd like to say I'd tell the clerks, but what's to say they wouldn't take $4 worth of tickets for themself? __________________________ This happened at one of the Fremont Street cainos in downtown Vegas and as far as I know it never was settled: When the poker and slot machines started going to credits instead pf paying tokens into the till with every win a lot of people would walk off, not knowing they

Predictions: Lp
NOT number predictions, predictions about now til the end of the year, or perhaps the second half of this year til June 30 '08. (Just have a few hunches). I think someone here is going to hit a jackpot, not sure a state Pick 6 or Powerball or Mega, or the UK or Australia, but someone on LP hits. They'll disappear for awhile, or maybe just lurk (and be very entertained while they do) and then comeback (same username or maybe different) and tell a very intersting story about how they didn

if you found a winning ticket that wasn't yours
When I left Vegas in 1993 there as an interesting case going on, I'm not sure what the outcome was. Read on. This is when he casinos first started going to slots that racked up credits instead of dropping coins into the coin tray. A lot of players were used to those old coin tray payouts and would get up and leave thinking they were losers, but they weren't. They were just unaware that the machine they'd been playing had credits on them. Well, there were people who would go through th

I am going to try to change the rules about annonymity...
Delaware offers corporations, too. This is one of the things you learn living in Nevada - if a person takes out a safety deposit box at a bank, Uncle Sam can go into that box if they want to, for settling an estate or whatever. If the same person forms a Navada corporation (or any) and takes out the box in the name of the coporation, only an 'officer' from the corporation (i.e., that person) can get into tha box. ____________________________________________ Re: anonymity. Numbers Hitting After You Stop
Oh, heck yeah- constantly! We're hardly ever home to see the midday draw...twice this year already I've had av 'hunch' to play a pick 3 for that night's evening draw, only to find out it had hit at midday. On the Pick 5 games and beyond, it's nice knowing your numbers if tyou play the same ticket all the time, but it just doesn't seem to hit when you do that. I think every lottery book should have at least a brief chapter that says: DO NOT 'FALL IN LOVE' WITH ANY SET OF NUMBERS! I
