Here's something interesting, and it's tempting for me to say Buy your FF5 tickets at Publix , but I know why what I'm about to type is true. I searched The Top Prize Report for Publix and found 2,244 occurrences of it. (Includes Publix Liquor stores too) I then searched it for Winn Dixie and found only 377 occurrences. Not that anybody is remotely interested, or even cares for that matter, but in addition to Saturday, Friday is also a good day to play FF5. Friday's generate a total take of $600,00+ for The Florida Lottery. Last night three players won $65,992 each. Something interesting is going on with Take5.... but it's not what you think. There has been at least one jackpot winner every day this year with the exception of January 9th when there was no winner. Average jackpot won is $43,702. Eleven jackpots have been split by 15 winners. I just cant figure out why a retailer wouldn't want to pay out 500 bucks if they have the cash on hand. Makes no sense to me. The Stewart's Shop near me is a very busy store. There's no way I'd believe they don't have enough cash on hand. It's not that I've heard that store doesn't like to pay out larger hits, but there just has to be an awful lot of cash in that store.
