New PA Game
We all know by now that PA is coming out with a new game, Mix Match, to replace Lucky For Life. My question is : Was this the best way for this to transpire? Is this as good as it could get? Should LFL stay? Should LFL been heaved for a game other than M M? Perhaps getting rid of LFL with no new game at all? What's your take?

Possible disturbing news
There ARE people who like the idea of receiving money for the rest of their lives. But these games would be MORE popular if they also offered cash options (like the Washington state Lucky for Life scratch, with a $750,000 option) to attract the MAJORITY who prefer lump sum.

Possible disturbing news
Just goes to show that lots of people feel differently than you. The lottery is not stupid. They would not put a game out there that would not sell well. Obviously a great many people enjoy Lucky for Life. The fact that a lot of states are doing it means there is a need to be filled.

PA's next online game
I completely disagree. I hope Lucky for Life stays put. Taking away that game takes away a very popular option for people who enjoy long-term payouts. Unfortunately I discarded my vote, I wish I had voted No .

PA's next online game
O.K. I have a slight update. I recieved a coupon sheet for PA Lottery games, and Lucky For Life has a coupon. The good news is that it's for next month, so that while we won't see a new game until at least October, it means that the ball is rolling and we should see a new game this year (hopefully).

60-day clock (cash v annuity)
WA state Lucky for Life scratch (which replaced the online Unlucky for Life) has a $750,000 cash option. Therefore there is no excuse for other life games not to have the choice.

Does hindsight have you frustrated?
Match 6 (6/49) is not too bad, being you get 2 free lines. But lucky for life has the best odds here, 6/38. But I get way more pay back usually then LFL in small prizes added up. I don't play cash 5 much, unless it is over a million. But you can bet you will be splitting it then 2-5 ways if you hit. Not how I want to celebrate my first, and maybe ever jackpot win.

Does hindsight have you frustrated?
I think the lucky for life game ended before the switch to computerized drawings. They stopped providing video of the ball drawings for a year or two before the switch though. It's the same problem with many state lotteries. The only drawing that is trustworthy is a televised ball drawing. Everything else is just a problem waiting to happen.

PA cash 5 going up...
As I predicted, 2-3 winners would hit tonight, glad I didn't play. More like about $250,000 after all the taxes. I would gladly take lucky for life over that. A cash prize does no one any good that you potentially have to split it with multiple people, personally I need more than that to change my life. So as usual cash_only's logic is flawed.
