no 2 free QP on mm?! :-(
So I buy $10 of mm on single ticket, but get A-J, no 2 qp. The man tells me whatever the machine gave him is it. Maybe promotion is over, or I have to buy on OCt.12. I tell him it says on the TV screen buy $10, get 2 qp. So I leave, ask other places, no one knows nothing, just tell me they hand out what the machine prints out. Has anyone here bought $10 of mm? did you get 2 free qp or not?

Unusually high winning numbers for California SuperLotto
Draw Date: 09-29-2010 WB 27 33 35 45 46 Mega Ball 26 No one got all 5 WB and the mega ball but someone did buy a ticket with all the WB. I'm thinking that ticket must have been a quick pick. Who picks numbers that are so high on one ticket? Funny thing is, if I ever bought a QP ticket with numbers this high, I'd probably think I got ripped off by the lotto machine.

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Did you read the news on the front page of LP? This week, a retailer in Queens tried to steal a 14 million dollar Lotto winning ticket!! I hit Take5 for $23.50 last night. When I cashed in the ticket this afternoon, I told the clerk I had a 23 dollar winning ticket . She scanned it and said, Maybe not. I didnt say anything because I was POSITIVE that it was a winner. (I had checked it online at home, then I used the scanner in the store.) She scanned it again, said nothing, but opened the

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I dunno Jacal.... Somthin aint right with that clerk situation..... When you buy five bucks of SM on Monday or Thursday, the clerk doesnt have to do anything to make that three dollar freebie ticket pop out of the machine. It gets generated and printed automatically. Maybe I've seen too many TV shows lately about retail lottery clerks scamming customers, but that whole deal you described sounds fishy to me. I'll just leave it with it's a good thing you spoke up..... You're right about SM

I can't believe it. So Close to 5 numbers on tonights Powerball
I think it does mean something personally. It does mean that the machine did a pattern close to what comes out in real life. Some places just seem to put out strange numbers and I try to avoid them. A cigarette store by me puts out strange numbers and I avoid it, but they did sell a 5/6 PB ticket. A gas station near me seems to put out good numbers and I try to make it there. I have had a bit o luck there, but they haven't sold a big ticket yet. I think that they are due. And the place just look

Lets get a better understanding of what actually wins! Mega Millions
First post is for Powerball - This one is for Mega Millions Hello fellow Lottery Post members, I posted the above poll to see if fellow posters can help shed some light on the poll. This information has always bothered me - Is it better to buy single tickets with one line each - or is there any correlation between the timing mechanism in the lottery machine and the number it generates that makes the randomness and combination of the numbers any more likely if any correlation can

This information has always bothered me - Is it better to buy single tickets with one line each - or is there any correlation between the timing mechanism in the lottery machine and the number it generates that makes the randomness and combination of the numbers any more likely if any correlation can be found. Although we all know it has to do with the numbers

Does jackpot amount affect your spending habits.
Normally I just buy one PowerBall ticket with PowerPlay. This gives fate (Lady Luck, G-d, whatever motivating force you prefer to refer to) a chance to smile on me in a big way, and doesn't make me spend too much on the game, given the ridiculous odds for the jackpot. Given those odds, I tend to think of playing PowerBall as playing for the 2nd and 3rd prizes (the $1,000,000 or the $20-50,000 prizes). They don't change value over time, so I don't usually vary my playing style much. Most of my

Who know a thing or two about the POWERBALL ticket?
Whenever the official POWERBALL wesite states that there are how many players that played for the drawing such as 934,037 players won more than $9.5 million in prizes. Is the amount of players based on the amount of individual ticket slip(s) or for instance, you purchase 3 individual slip(s),does the person at the counter enter 1 as for 1 person or the lottery machine counts it as 3 people? Whenver you hand in a POWERBALL fill out form with the filled numbers, does the person each ty

Super 7
Am I the only one who thinks Super 7 is a guaranteed way to lose money? - 2 of the 3 plays on a ticket are generated by the machine, so you can actually control only 33% of the combinations that you play. Do you think those combinations generated by the machine are really random? - the odds of winning the jackpot are low like hell: 1 in 21 million !!! (20,963,833) I don't like it
