Staying Motivated for Jackpot Games
Most of us have never won a jackpot. Sometimes I wonder if I ever will win a jackpot, but I don't dwell on that for long. Of course, I also wonder sometimes if I have a gambling problem, but playing the lottery doesn't seem to be creating any problems in my life. I do get a little bummed out sometimes about not hitting the big one, but I know that jackpot win can be just one draw away. I usually get busy on making my next number selections right away after a drawing. I can usually find some way

Tntea Hits Keno for $250,000.00
Having a win on the Prediction board can be almost as big of a boost to one's ego as when actually pocketing from a true lottery win. I have, many times lost in my States lottery and felt down about it, especially when I did something stupid like dropped a number and it comes out. But when I go to the See yesterday's winners section and see that I have posted some good wins, it makes me feel better. That is another thing that is so great about being a member on this site. Powerball/MM Strategy
I've seen this discussed here before: if you're buying 50+ tickets for Mega Millions or Powerball, why not just buy ever possible megaball/powerball number? As a caveat, I never look for patterns in old numbers drawn, and assume that numbers are chosen randomly. I know that this isn't exactly true, but I've decided it's not worth hours and hours of my time to do analysis that might give me an infintesimal advantage. I live just outside Boston. I can play mega millions at my corner sto

Anyone else thinking of Euromillions?

I don't know if corporations or trusts can claim tickets in the UK or not. I do know that if the winner is from the UK then they get to meet with some advisors as part of the win. You would have to consult an international tax advisor here in the states.Any transfer of money, even on a debit card, could be a big problem if it's not d

MI WinFall ticket claimed hours before...
I thought for sure this was going to go unclaimed. What a story read below:LANSING, January 9, 2006 With just a few hours to spare, a Detroit man and his wife claimed a $1.5 million Winfall prize that was set to expire at the close of business today. The winners, both hospital workers, redeemed the ticket that had been purchased at Meijer s in Roseville on January 8, 2005. They chose the one-time cash payment and after 25 percent federal and 3.9 percent state taxes, walked away with a check f

MM and PB predictions question
I have looked at the Powerball website numerous times over the past year. I have read the articles about lottery winners' stories on the Powerball website, as well as on news articles about Big Game lottery winners. Most of the winners won off a quick pick. The Lucky 13 (1998) and the 14 Sandia Lab employees from New Mexico (2000) who won the Powerball won on a random quick pick. I would continually look at the Winner's stories section of the Powerball website, and most of the winners won on q

Problems with PB drawing?
I read this earlier on the internet. POWERBALL, May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Powerball drawing for Wednesday,May 25, 2005, was delayed 42 minutes due to a minor problem with Powerballsecurity procedures. The drawing was held in the presence of a city policeofficer and an independent auditing firm, was videotaped, and was displayed onthe Powerball website at http://www.powerball.com. The official numbers drawn were: 27-29-31-42-46 and the red Powerball: 33.The Power Play multiplier was 2.

The Pigskin Challenge: 4-6-05
Aye, I asked the question because investors are constantly being told if a money manager can have a return on his investment portfolio that exceeds the return on the Standard and Poors' 500 index, he's doing a good job. If the S P index is up 10% and a money manager is achieving a 15% return for his clients, he's doing a really great job. And keep in mind that these managers have many tools at their command...including inside info,,,that helps them show a healthy return on tehir investments.

PB Commons/Pattern-What do you think?
OpenMinded,I have tried this but not lining up the years, what I did was compare games side by side 36 draws apart (like game 100 beside game 136 etc...) and noticed some interesting occurrences. (it's in this thread under Powerball off the wall theories ) I number them in series, but I only keep the data from when the matrix changed (5/53 + 1/42) as I feel this makes it a new game and all prior data is irrelevant (they even used the old beitel criterion machines, where now they use the SmartPl
