$750,000 Winner - Jingle Jumbo Bucks - 2010
Yes, I am REALLY, REALLY unhappy about this game, and its false advertising. This after carefully examining my records. I will be contacting the GA Lottery Commission, and depending on the outcome, I may stir up a hornet's nest, well beyond what I have written here. I have tallied this game up, and this month I have spent $170 on Jingle Jumbo Bucks, and have only won $50 back, for a net loss of $120. I know what you are thinking: That's just how the lotto is. But wait a minute, even with the exp

Working Scratch of tactics thread
So far, I've identified several strategies First, selecting the game: There's the basic expectation where you sum up the products of the prize value and the probability of hitting that prize. This doesn't take into account the volatility of the game such as with Super Set For Life where it's pretty much all on none. There's rating the games by the sum of the log value of the prize value to price ratio divided by the log value of the odds against for that prize. This favours the lower

In GA and TN for sure if it has a black (L) marking between two tickets on the bottom or top cornor that is the mark you are looking for. If the ticket is black you won't be able to see it. Hello killerwill13, The Florida Lottery destroys tens of thousands of both full and partial books each year. When a book is activated by the retailer and then returned for any reason such as damages, business no longer wants to sell lottery tickets or is going out of business or has a flood or fire or hurricane damage and they return a single ticket up to a full book of tickets they are all destroyed. Only full books that are not activated and still sealed can be resold once they are returne

Is this weird??
I have done this both ways with $20-$25 tickets. In theory, the idea is buying at different places or at least off of different rolls that all 20 tickets could be winners. But it could also mean that all 20 tickets could be losers. Is this game near 50% sold? Based on the number of jackpots won for $250K the game needs to hit close to 50% in sales before the next grand prize is released. In either case, you'll be lucky to win $40 back which is what I'd expect you'd get back at best unlease

To further clarify for all 2MJ Hunters. Here is the current list of places that if you go to the retailer and want to buy 2MJ, you have a good shot of finding it (I won't say guaranteed because another LP/lurker may beat you to it) Piggly Wiggly Graceville (1) Active Suncoco Monroe St Tallahasse (1) Active (it's possible the 1 Rec is actually in stock too) Jax Food Mart 838 A Phillip Randolph Blvd (1) Act - Might want to take a bodyguard to this place or use Google Maps Sunrise Food

How to pick games
Chris$ - you're correct. Almost every state pulls games. It's the nature of the business for some states, pulling games is a KEY way that they increase the profitability of their business. I see it in PA every week and my local retailer is annoyed with me always asking for the best games - they simply say 'that games closed'. In reality it means - he doesn't have that game for sale anymore. It doesn't mean someone else in PA doesn't still have that game for sale. And yes - more than likely, the

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your support, and the guidance many of you have given me over the past year. @ Dragonsofra - Sorry to hear about your tough streak, and I hope you find something huge so. People like us who get compulsive urges need to find a way to play with moderation, or stop entirely. As you already know the financial implications of continually playing. I found my CC debt decreasing, and my student loan payments only being the minimum when I started playing scratchoffs.

Do not get burned by this service station!
It doesn't matter HOW many tickets he has..I'm a manager at a gas station (not the owner) and the owners usually only had 5-8 books of tickets at a time. Yes, but I bet you have several hundred tickets altogether, not less than a dozen. I would think nothing of a store that had 8 books of tickets, especially if it was in a slow area. I have been in this store three times, over the period of a couple months. The first time, I bought the last two tickets he had, in the entire store. Meaning tha

Discarded tickets with only the serial number scratched.
CarHauler, I'm sorry, I don't remember what state you are in...is it GA or OH? ((EDIT: DOH! It is Georgia, I found that after scrutinizing your ticket) Used to be in PA - before extra ~ security ~ measures were put into place, that you were able to scratch the ticket area and reveal the serial number and find whether the ticket was a winner or loser by the presence or absence of parenthesis. The winning amount would be within the numbers in parenthesis. Many tickets were discarded wi
