Lottery player/winner advice ?
What the 9/11 got do with this discussion? Any REAL MONEY $50 MILLION PLUS MEN AREN'T WORKING IN 110 STORY BLDGS. Taking the lump sum is your opinion and decision to take the lump sum should be taken into advisement. $165million man was advised to so. A winner of $28million in Illinois took the annuity and places the payment in the partnership and she was probably advised to do. I would do the same thing, difference of opinion you take lump I am taking the annuity I want all the money not

Need advice
Please note, I am not an attroney or lawyer. The following is just my personal opinion. It will help if dispute happens. It will be a good evidence for the court. If the no of players is not too much you guys can have all you names signed at the back of the ticket!Or you guys can draft a partnership agreement on betting. How is every partners dollar contribution (% $ contribution). And how is the distribution of the gain for every partner, by % $ invested. It will be great if there is an external

Claiming Anonymous in California Lottery
this was originally posted by Perfecttiming2 in this thread: https://www.lotterypost.com/topic/222068 Since no one knows the answer to this question, I decided to call my state lottery office and find out what they had to say: This is the information that I got from my phone call to the California Lottery office...... 1. If you sign your name on the back of the ticket, that is the name that will be released to the public 2. If you want to claim your ticket anonymously, you

If you claim Big Win Anonymously Do you sign ticket or not...
Many on this site believe it is best to claim a jackpot prize anonymously....and (if your state allows it ) I totall agree....However.... HOW do you sign the ticket? If you are splitting with one other person and you both agree on how to claim it: Do you leave the ticket unsigned until you form your entity (LLC, Partnership, Trust etc) AND then sign it with the name of the form entity? OR Do you sign it regardless of how you claim it? .........And deal with the legalities af

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
Hi all Been long time lurker but newly registered poster. I vowed I was going to allow this topic to die it's natural death, as it provoked a round of phone calls and research on my part that had me off purchasing lottery tickets (but only for a week--LOL) What my research indicated was that the lottery winner that I had admired most--that guy that won the big Powerball--probably had it all wrong. He was the one who had actually won the big banana and vowed that he was going to turn

Using business name to protect privacy
I was looking around at different Lottery sites this morning and noticed on Colorado's website that under the winners section the drop down menu has claiming prizes financial counsel . I clicked on the counsel part and they repeatedly state about talking with a financial professional whether it be a lawyer, accountant of financial planner. I though that was very admirable of them. I did notice further down the list was the How do I go about form a trust and the reply went like this: The Lott

Court hears arguments on $559M lottery winner's plea to remain anonymous
Tough call (imho). I more than understand the rules and they are crystal clear on making the claim. For her personal safety, I am all for that 110%. I believe ,like all of us, we have heard sign the back of your ticket for years and years. Those of us that post on here, know undoubtedly, that with this massive win requires discretion, professional legal guidance and sound decision making prior to making the claim. I was a bit curious about safety tips that the lottery posts on the TEXAS

Georgia Team Players Post Pic 4"S Here
You are very fortunate to have a true partnership in that regard. My ex-wife was not so understanding. She had the habit of screaming, gritching, stomping around, breaking stuff, cursing and pitching daily conniption fits about my playing habits. LOL But every time I would get in a good solid lick, without fail, she would be first in line, holding her greedy hand out for a fistful of $100 bills, and refused to take no for an answer! Even though she contributed nothing but negativity and gener
