Is it possible to be anonymous in a non anonymous state?
Some people think their opinions count so much more than the facts....like I saidm some would just ignore the article. Sad lot really. The team helped the family create the JYS Family Limited Partnership and put together entities to keep the winner's identity from the public...

Remaining anonymous
Don't know specifically about PA or NJ, but the question to ask is if they allow an entity, such as a trust, LLC, partnership, etc. to claim a prize. Even if they don't, there are ways to become anonymous after the win. There are books on Amazon about this very topic. Do a search on privacy books and you'll find some there.

That's great BUT in Pennsylvania they will reveal the members of the Trust! BUT, if they formed a limited liability company (L.L.C.) partnership, those cannot be revealed, by law.

Play at the Pump slow to take off in NC
In January 2015, the North Carolina Education Lottery joined an effort to make convenience stores more convenient for potential lottery players by allowing them to play the lottery digitally while filling up their gas tanks. Play at the Pump, a cloud-based payment platform, allows people to play Mega Millions, Powerball and Cash 5 without going into the store. With the swipe of a debit card and a $1 transaction fee, players can get their numbers for the next drawing. Linq3, an Atlanta soft

Renting a safety deposit box at a bank
I disagree with you on the lawyer part. I will probably need a Last Will and Testament, various Living Trusts, Asset Protection methods like an LLC or Family Limited Partnership It's a good idea to get a lawyer before validating just for your benefit, but other than using a trust to collect the winnings, they can't change the rules and laws. After the ticket is validated and especially after the money is in your bank, a lawyer is a must.

Renting a safety deposit box at a bank
Stack47, Contact your lottery headquarters or local office. Compare with them the winning numbers, the 18 digit code, the correct game and date. I also agree with you about the tax accountant but I disagree with you on the lawyer part. I will probably need a Last Will and Testament, various Living Trusts, Asset Protection methods like an LLC or Family Limited Partnership. I will have to remind myself that I now have millions and can afford all the Professionals I think I need.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich to answer your questions on Lottery Post Monday evening!
I remember that drawing from a few years ago, where a law firm in New York (I think) tried to claim the prize by submitting the ticket via overnight mail with only a short time before the ticket would have been void. Something about the signature portion smudged and illegible for a trust or partnership, but the lottery commission denied it and they quickly withdrew the request for payment. Bells and whistles went off in MY head when I read that so I can imagine what was going on in Iowa. I am a
