What was the most ever won by buying a whole roll of scratch-offs?
Thanks everyone for posting. I'm sorry about how I phrased the question, but I think you've got the hang of it now. Please continue to post. I have considered buying a whole role of tickets by partnership.

Sorry I haven't been posting the numbers. The numbers don't really mean that much to me. It is a random thing. I play the odds rather than the numbers. I have a partnership (which has a long story behind) it and the idea of getting the numbers out of can was just to try and open his eyes to the points I was trying to make. The odds are (using a wheeling system) and wheeling 6 numbers - odds are 1 in 9.3 (10.8%). My partner has been playing the lottery for years. I am totally new at it. I am m

Question about winning Jackpot
I would think you could claim with an entity like a Family Limited Partnership where you can have unequal beneficiaries. But then again, you'd need to check with an estate atty to be sure. With a big jackpot win, I'd think the first phone call would be to an estate atty long before the investment guy. You've got to get the money before you can invest the money.

Mega Millionaire 'Bunky' Bartlett offers advice to winners
In 4 states you can remain anonmous. The rest your name and home town is given. You can claim as an enitity. A trust , LLC , partnership. I think this is legal for all states.

Opinion: Powerball winners will lose big if they go public
Such faith and trust you both have in your wives. Seriously, I'd be pissed if my husband made those decisions without me. It's a breach of the marriage partnership, and a sign of distrust. Just giving you boyz the women's point of view. You do what you think is the right thing because that's what you boyz tend to do.

A present to family that says if I win powerball, I'll give you X%. Does that work?
Last year there was a thread about creating a Limited Partnership where each member was given different percentages. Some of the things we read on LP aren't 100% accurate so if you really do want to plan ahead for that multi-million jackpot prize, talk to an attorney or financial adviser before buying your winning ticket.

Best place for a large Lottery Winners to Live
Yea, Texas allows it. Found this on their site a while back, you can claim as a blind trust but you must first give the Lottery headquarters the documents so they can review them. A claimant can be an individual, a trust, a partnership, a corporation, or any other legal entity. The way in which you claim a prize cannot be changed after the ticket is validated and the prize is paid; therefore, careful consideration and professional advice, including but not limited to legal or financial

Do you guys play lotto with friends?
No, I don't play the lottery with anyone but myself. It's less trouble that way. And like others said before me, you sound like you're basically being taken advantage of. You buy the tickets and some guy gives you the numbers? So, you're spending all of your money but if you happen to hit the jackpot one day, you're going to have to split the jackpot with him. I would really rethink your partnership with the guy.
