Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Thanks speeddmon. Publix in the past wasn't very kind to my pockets. I would buy and then cry lol That's the first $1,000 winner for me. As well as the highest winning amount thus far. I Fed the ticket machine $50 and recieved tickets #51-55. For some reason I tend to win the big amounts in the machines, but I get alot of symbols when I buy over the counter. Either way i'm in to win it haha!! I have some more pics from today's winners, but my phone isn't connecting to computer all of a sudden. W

Girl struck by lightning, wins lottery
Children can be good luck charms lol. I once walked by a scratch ticket machine at my store carrying my 1 year old son. I asked which one should mommy get? He proceeded to point to the $1.oo sticket featuring a cow. So I bought it and scratched it in the car...lo and behold, I won $10.00! Most I've ever won sadly, but I won!! So I guess take your baby with you, or rub some passing childs head before making your pick. Thank god they come equipt w/luck. We don't want people pushing their kids out

Delware Lottery renews contract with Scientific Games
A cooperative services agreement is where the vendor basically does everything, from marketing the game through the supply chain. Here's a link to the cooperative services page at Scientific Games: http://www.scientificgames.com/sgcorp/coop_services.aspAs far as I know, Scientific Games does not offer a drawing computer; just the systems that track the numbers played (among other things).I do agree with Greg as far as Delaware's awful computerized drawings are concerned. If I were a Delaware re

Self-Service Terminals
Greetings Joy,I can't see the machines cutting down on retailers profit. Their profit margin is set by the state lottery. In Pennsylvania self-serve scatch ticket machines are all over the place. Store owners love them.I agree with you Joy about the supermarket cashiers. I never use self checkout lanes, but the convenience store employee thats another matter. The only time you see a employee manning a lottery machine 100% of the time is when the Powerball game gets into the millions.Have you ev

Fla. Lottery official arrested on bribery charges
A Florida Lottery district manager was arrested on bribery charges Friday after allegedly accepting payment from a Gainesville store owner he thought was seeking preferential treatment in getting a lottery ticket machine. Instead, the store owner was helping the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which was monitoring the action and arrested Donnie Hampton, district manager of the Florida Lottery's Jacksonville-Gainesville office, said Sharon Gogerty, an FDLE spokeswoman. Hampton was ac

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
often wondered how winning tickets are distributed ... example - Randy Johnson of Clearwater won $1M WCC on 4/20/17 ....... then on 5/10/17 he wins another WCC $1M ..... the places he bought from are pretty close to each other. Both in Clearwater. Do you think Randy mastered some secret code - or book numbers ? Or started buying 30 books a day with his first $1M win ......Or was it pure luck being at the right place at the right time .. there are way too many wins by people who never played b

CVS employee accused of stealing $1 million lottery ticket
The article doesn't make clear whether the Illinois Lottery initially accepted the million dollar claim. If yes, that raises some questions. 1. Why would they accept a claim for a ticket that's cut in half. 2. Did they acknowledge the instant ticket machine malfunctioned. 3. Why didn't they investigate the sale further, such as viewing video - many lotteries do for top prize winners, especially when there are suspected irregularities. Again, this illustrates why lottery retailers and its empl

Duo facing felony charges in lottery theft scheme
Nice thing about ticket machine dispensers...money first. Not so nice thing, when the tickets get jammed and no one will fix it. ! These suspects gambled at their own risk..... Stores in my area have nightly audits, Even a dollar off on the machines..... sends a red flag... For a store owner to not have audits in place.....rather foolish. Every ticket is counted and accounted for.
