Washington Lottery to debut new ticket machines
Washington lottery players can expect new green tickets July 2, the date the state-run gambling enterprise switches to new machines in its retail outlets. The switch comes at a time the state Lottery is struggling to maintain its share of the state's exploding gambling market. But the change is not expected to boost the state's shrinking share of the $1.7 billion that gamblers lose each year in Washington. The change in ticket stock is tied to the installation of new ticket-dispensing mac

Record Mass. Lottery sales, despite high fuel prices
Bob Hurtubise mused Thursday about what he would do if he hit it big on a Lottery game. The Ashburnham, Massachusetts, resident would buy a nice house and secure savings for his kids, he said. I'll play a quick pick on big number games, Hurtubise said. But I'll just play one. If you're doing any more than that, you're just making donations. Now that gas prices have reached nearly $3 per gallon, he guessed more people will hold onto their cash for other expenses. That money's

Woman claims Publix cashier threw away winning lotto ticket
Bullcrap! The ticket was accidentally thrown away Thats bullcrap! I believe the cashier kept the winning ticket after seeing it was the winner and lied by saying it was accidentally thrown it away. Why would they tell her never to come back to the store again, thats cold hearted and wrong why should she not be allowed back in the store if they are the jerks who made the mistake by throwing away her $800.00 winning lottery ticket and when you make a mistake YOU should pay so if this case were eve

A crazy lottery story
I had an issue with a vending machine this past Saturday. I usually play the same #'s for Power ball so I will use the same play ticket a few times, well this past Saturday the machine ate my ticket. I mean I got my money back and just filled out another ticket. But I guess even though the ticket was in good condition they can maybe still feel worn out according to the machine. Now sure otherwise why it would eat it.

I was down in Matt's neck of the woods and got some tickets. I will scratch them later tonight. This was at a Wegman's . They had 2 machines. The one machine had a bill acceptor error. I went to the other machine and one ticket was #12. I like ticket #13, so I got the next one and it was 11. I also saw one $20 ticket was on 25 and was going to finish the pack but it went down to 24 as the next.. This is the only time I have ever seen a machine loaded backwards. Also my last ticket was a $5 Aces

I hadn't bought a ticket since May 1 I fell off the wagon on Friday and bought some. I bought #18 of the $10 $1000 Frenzy and ended up killing off that roll. Out of the 13 tickets it had only 2 $10 winners (I think #24 27). I also bought 6 different $5 tickets and had 2 $5 winners out of them. I bought a $30 $2,000,000 Fortune ticket #15 and the machine jammed and it got stuck in the machine. I got the clerk to open the machine and get it for me. That ticket lost the roll must have been

Does anyone have luck with vending machines for scratch tickets?
Hi, I'm just wondering how many people have had much luck when it comes to buying scratch off tickets from a vending machine? I have not had much luck with vending machines. There was one time about 3 years ago that I won 100 dollars on a 5 dollar scratch ticket from a vending machine. When I buy scratchers I tend to not use the vending machines because you can't see the ticket number in a machine. I have gone back and forth about caring about the number on a scratch ticket. There was a time

Does anyone know how the lotto machine works...
when you are checking to see if you won an instant lottery ticket? I was pretty certain my ticket was worth $12.00. It came up as $7.00 on the lotto machine. I went back to my car to look at an old ticket to make sure I could not be wrong about the possibilities of winning $12 before going back into the store causing a scene. The gentleman gave me a hard time, telling me he already ripped up the ticket. I persisted and he eventually gave in and let me see the ticket. He denied knowing how to
