Federal Taxes??
Basically, what happens is this:1. You Win. Start Screaming.2. You go to lottery HQ and fill out a claim.3. You now have a decision: a) You can take payments over a certain amount of time (i.e., MM, 26 years). With this option, you will pay taxes on EACH EVERY installment payment you receive, along with taxes on any interest you make by putting the money in the bank, plus regular employment income taxes, or b) You can take one lump sum. With this option, you are taxed on the cash value of the

Chasing random mathematically. Is there an underlying organization?
This video is an extension of what I've been showing on the counters patterns and the patterns that numbers make in general with the just standard mathematics. Or at least how I see them. I also have the book that you see above uploading if anyone is interested in seeing what they can see with it. If there is no interest in it, I won't bother putting any links to it. I'll just keep it there for a backup.

Lottery industry facing new threat in 'skill' games
Todd, don't you think the writing has been on the wall for lotteries in general? Remember way back when folks would get excited for $1 million jackpots and IMHO even sky high jackpots just don't get folks interest like in the past. State governments have no business dictating what the lottery will or won't do, but don't think that will change anytime soon--if ever.

What ever happened to Tntea?
Maybe Tntea just got tired of Lottery Post, or got tired of playing the lottery games in general, and decided to do something more interesting and constructive with her life. Maybe she took up a new hobby or interest. Lotto Laughs [the REAL LOTTO GURU] hasn't posted in a long time either. She told me in PM that she had other interests that she was pursuing at the moment.

SENSITIVE TOPIC: Do you keep a diary or record of winnings, losses, expenses for you know what?
You can only claim deductions equal to your winnings. Also those loses and others (interest on loans and etc.) have to exceed the standard deduction allowed for losses in general. I once won $1500 for matching 5/6 in a 649 game and spent $3000 on lottery tickets that year but my other losses and the $1500 of lottery loses I could claim didn't exceed the standard deduction of $4500 so I ended up paying ~$300 more in taxes for the $1500 increase in my income. You got to win a lot and lose a lot

Legally avoid the gift tax?
For your specific example the answer is no, because your parents would only have a 40% interest. The general, but short answer is maybe. How many checks the lottery writes doesn't necessarily matter when the IRS comes looking for the taxes. Giving a lot of money to your parents may be foolish, anyway. For the longer answer look here: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/160814

Some Oklahomans baffled by new Pick 3 lottery game
You are 100% correct RJOH People here feel jilted by the new lottery, they keep running these hokie ads on tv that people are laughing at. The people at lottery headquarters need to be more informative about what new games are coming and when they are coming...and how much you might win! Pick 3 players in general are a different breed than mega-powerball-lotto players I think? I think $700,000 in pick 3 sales in 2 weeks ...seems to me alot, imagine when players are offered a chance at 6 figu

Better Business Bureau warns of lottery-winning scams
After reading the story on the BBB site I realize I had gotten a letter like this but it didn't say I won a lottery. It said that my wife was the beneficiary of a large sum of money from a distant relative who passed in 1908 and they finally found my wife to receive the money. They had also said that through the years the interest on the money had made it over 8 million dollars. We were instructed to send a check for $99.00 for processing and 1% of the total payment for a finders fee. I didn't

Deleting Blog entries
I've moved this post to the Discussion forum, because we really want to keep discussion in the Pick 3 forum related to Pick 3 topics, rather than general-interest topics like this.
