Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
Well you have to hand it to the Powerball people, and their sense of unconventional marketing. First they double the price of a commodity, their ticket, while reducing its value. Then they act surprised when sales fall. In order to address the falling sales, they announce that they are going to reduce the value of the product even more. They're definitely geniuses over there. Overall, the general trend here, it it's representative, is that people are going to play less often. After five ye

Why any good Pick 3 system, method, or tool will ,almost, certainly fail
Such broad general statements don't interest anyone. We all know the problems with the game and it's odds already. So, what we need are very specific numbers. Numbers to actually prove what ever you are trying to say. Just words don't cut it. This is a numbers game. Showing is better than saying. Many here have shown results which are proved out with examples. Most always what they show in one form or the other use images of some kind. Specific results in math form is the best. Otherwise, an

So kind of you to suddenly wax gentle and meek Jammy. Forgive me for thinking you would understand a general characterization, as you seem to make them all the time yourself. Here is a quote from an article (Forbes) that sums up my general opinion concerning the current condition of our ruling class government. modern big government is an interest group in and of itself http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2013/02/20/as-country-club-republicans-link-up-with-the-democratic-ruling-class-mi

Lotteries a threat to federal Web poker bill?
The Justice Department, through its interpretation of the Wire Act, has already virtually opened the door to internet gambling and it's extremely doubtful with the mess we're in from the current administration that the new administration would waste any time acting on one obscure sentence added to the Platform to assuage a special interest group when Platforms are routinely ignored. No one swears any oath to uphold or enforce any item in any Platform and very few even pay any attention to it.

Quaker Oats workers claim $241 million Powerball jackpot
If the state no longer has a compelling interest, then the privacy rights of the winners could trump the state's right to publicity. The state doesn't need a compelling reason. All they need is a law. The winners who don't want to abide by the law are the ones who need a compelling reason. If they're extremely lucky the judge might acccept an argument that releasing their names puts them at risk, but in general the pubic's right to information trumps an individual's theoretical risk. Unless

Random Occurences.
Iv'e taken a great interest in the methods of filtering out Straight hits in the last year or even 1000 draws. I like the idea. So this post is for anyone who shares the similar interest. I'm a little mixed on how this strategy is used, but I assume a shorter time period filter is applied with expectation that those numbers will NOT occur in the following draws, and the longer filters are used for overdue numbers. But my major question here is this. Has anyone been tracking the SKIPS

Question to single men and women on the forums.
Married? No thanks, I have zero interest in getting married now or after winning a jackpot and if for some reason I were to, which I won't, there certainly would be a prenuptial agreement signed before hand and if they don't like it, oh well. But again, I wouldn't get married so it wouldn't matter. If I met someone after winning I wouldn't tell that person anything about where my money came from anything other than my self employment, even if I'm my own, only client. I certainly wouldn't be flau

Wisconsin Megabucks lottery winners come forward
@Chewie:While I understand your overall point let me say that if I am ever fortunate enough to win a major lotto prize...and I consider $11.1 million a major prize...I will have no problem allowing my attorney, my tax advisor and my financial consultant the time needed to make all the necessary arrangements and deal with all the legal ramifications of securing the money for my future. I will also take whatever time needed to refine and impliment my exit, press and security strategies. One thin
