Plans to amend Tennessee's lottery law are already in the works, less than six months after the Legislature authorized the games.Rep. Forming a Trust... any links to info?
konanean estate does not end up in a trust. the deceased (settlor) placed it in a trust, and might have had a good reason. a trustee receives a fee for administering the trust, however, this is decided at the time the trust is formed and cannot be changed by the trustee arbitrarily. trustee's have a fiduciary responsibility and are bound by professional ethics. they are required to manage the assets in the best interests of the beneficiaries, they have no beneficial interest in the assets

Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Thanks for your thoughtful post bobby623. Don't you guys think it's time for you to put aside your personal animosities and get back to the question at hand? Personally, I'd appreciate some constructive comments regarding the role of 'substitution' as it applies to lottery strategies. If you start at the top of this thread that I initiated in an effort to conduct a discussion of backtesting and simulations, I think you will see that the problems are the result of interference from those

What If someone wins and doesn't invest at all .
The best advice is the one given to oneself. So here is the advice I give myself on this matter- The best person to manage my money is...MYself. I went down the stock path (it crumbled) I went down the Interest in a bank. THe bank foreclosed, vanishing my money's interest. Just because a bank is Federally Insured doesnt mean they pay you back any time soon. Try two years or more thru the paperwork system to get any of it back and of that they charge a fee for tracking down YOUR money. Real Es

I'm thinking of starting a lottery pool
I don't think Facebook would allow it. As I pointed out earlier the people HAVE to hand you the money and you can not send ANYTHING through the U.S. Mail system. Here is the United States Code: 39 USC 3005 (a) Upon evidence satisfactory to the Postal Service that any person is engaged in conducting a scheme or device for obtaining money or property through the mail by means of false representations, including the mailing of matter which is nonmailable under (!1) 3001(d), (h), (i),

LOttery Post's Popularity...
Despite the huge interest in lotteries around the world, it still is just a narrow band within a very large spectrum of interests. Myspace dosen't have any one particular interest. It's anything and everything you can think of. It's just like Youtube . It's like saying a website about shoes. Everyone in the civilized world wears shoes, so why doesn't that site have a trillion members? Because it's still just a small piece of the whole. If the LP included not just the topics involving l

Most corrupt US lottery
There is no question that the states make a few extra bucks when they pay annuity prizes, but there's nothing evil about that. If the state invests the cash value of the prize in an annuity that pays 6%, and they can satisfy the annual prize payment using only 4%, the state makes and keeps the extra 2% of the interest generated. The prizewinner isn't out anything, as he still gets the full payment, but any superfluous interest amount helps to offset operating costs at the lottery or goes into th
