I think it is because NC has always been such a challenge for players, especially since fireball. We are a baby on the list of states that have had the lottery, not that many years unlike say Virginia, which is where most people drove to buy lottery tickets from NC. Other than that I am not sure. This is incorrect. Lottery tickets are printed on special thermal paper that resists fading. If you kept a lottery ticket in the glove box of your car, it would not degrade any faster than the other important paper documents you are supposed to keep in your car.
