Lottery rigging mastermind sentenced to 25 years in prison
8/22/2017
. . . Tipton was formerly a programmer with the Multi-State Lottery Association,
the agency that administers some state lottery drawings.
He designed and maintained software
for computerized random number generators
used to select winning lottery numbers. . .

Oh Boy!! And THEY said it couldn't be rigged!
Doesn't surprise me one bit! His sentence was to light IMHO!
So, by definition, were these random dr

Mathematics and the Lottery
The correct answer should be D) None of the above.
---
No. Mathematics will never be able to predict a (truly) random occurance. In the example that follows here, if you have 102 known drawings, and use the middle 100 to derive any formula which can predict the first or last number drawn, you will never find it. Use any range of numbers. Use 100,000,002 random drawings. Exclude the first and last and use only the middle 100 million for your formula to look forward or backward. You will not

A Pick 3 concern for Kansas players
For a while now, I've been visiting in Kansas and have been sporadically playing Pick 3. However, the times I've played, my picks have been just one number off from the winner. Some entertaining systems I've used are the ttt method, stribman's majic chart, the old man's zeros, Little Old Lady's make your own puzzle, Isaac Nwokogba's system, and a few more I found here at LP.
A more specific question I've been wondering about Kansas Lottery. You're not held accountable. Since you live in Kans

Tennesee cash 3 cash 4 lotto plus pick 5 Rate it!
In every state across this country scratch offs account for more revenue for the states than any other game.
Pick 3 sales may be lower in Tennessee and other states but that doesn't mean the payouts are. Many people play specific numbers every day like triples, house numbers, car tag numbers, and telephone exchanges, and such when you see payouts you have to look and that number and ask yourself what caused that number to have a better or worse payout. Many auto mechanics and car enthusiasts

Georgia Lottery holds first Weekly WinFall drawing
The Georgia Lottery held the first of 11 Weekly WinFall drawings, combining the big payout of a raffle game with the drawings of a weekly draw game.
The winning numbers for Weekly WinFall are updated at Lottery Post's Georgia Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/ga) after each weekly drawing takes place.
The first drawing, conducted April 25, awarded 10 prizes of $5,000 to holders of tickets sold in the previous week.
Unlike other state raffle games with early bird -style d

Suggestion for FL Lottery Writing Campaign
Good post .....I agree All lottery drawings should be live and transparent...
A good example of what a lottery should look like is the
VIRGINIA lottery
because (1) all drawings are real and you can view them on line ...
(2) you can download the the numbers from their web page ...for free ,very few web pages or state lottery's will do this ;
(3) there are pick-3,pick-4 and pick 5 drawings Two t

tennessee RNG is hell.grrrrrrrr
Stack47 the post many people made were derived for the news media and the lottery. emails sent back and forth from the Tennessee lottery are generic in nature that is everyone gets the same response.
from the Tennessee lottery quote:
The security and integrity of our games is of utmost importance and this greatly impacted our decision to go to these type drawings. Cash 3, Cash 4, Lotto 5 and Hot Trax drawings are now conducted at the Tennessee Lottery's headquarters in Nashville using

Pick 3 Forecast (Multiple States) 13th Edition
No. I only play and tell people who play my forecast to follow the drawing schedule one drawing at a time. If your state is not next on the drawing schedule then don't play it. _After the forecast wins one time then_ _stop playing_ and wait for the next forecast.
I don't predict for Illinois or any other state that uses computer random number generators.
We have to make state lotteries convert to only using mechanical random number generators by not spending money to play the
