Tough economy?  Some cut back on lottery tickets, wagering
Since April I've been playing much less, only one play per draw just so I can still have a chance to win and look forward to the drawings. It turns out to be more fun to have only 1 number or set in each game because if I lose it's not as big a deal. The payouts on the daily games are still the same, but the big games' jackpots increase more slowly. Even so I still see frequent winners of PB and MM. People still play. I haven't won much lately but for the last few months it was still better than

Hoosier Lotto in a dry spell
I completly agree with you on this issue computerized drawings are not good for the players .The benifit is too the Lotterys and their corporate partners ....its a money maker very little payouts and all profit : laws would push those Corporate Enterprises into a better system a ball draw in the eye of the camera and the citizens of this state: But like I said before there are many insidences accross the USA

Tenn. Lottery players complaining over switch from numbered balls
We have had some other inquiries about the lack of double digit winning numbers, so we had our security staff run several random test draws, and double digits were drawn. KyMystikal, tell them (politely, of course) to put this in their pipe and smoke it - as of this afternoon (8/16) there have been 36 consecutive computerized pick 4 drawings with no multiple digits (38 total counting the last 2 ball draws on 7/27). According to my calculations the odds on this happening are approx. 51 1/2

would MUSL eventually computerize powerball like they did hot lotto?
The lottery doesn't exist for us, the players. The lottery exists to make money (as any business). But the lottery doesn't have to jump through hoops or anything of the sort to develop a relationship with its customers, it just has to offer the game. Lets' face it, sales are astronomical when jackpots are over $100,000,000, as compared to the jackpot starting points, and there's a frenzy. It wouldn't' be surprising to find out that for those drawings the average player couldn't tell you if

When do you buy your QP's?
I live in FL too. I've purchased my tickets a day ahead of time, on the day of the drawing and as late as 9:30 at night. I guess you could call around to find out which stores keep their lottery terminals active until 11. I think you can purchase Lotto tickets up to 10:45, but I'm not 100% sure. I've also bet the same 4 combinations for over 12 years, bet quick picks as well, at different stores, in different towns, at different times. When you consider there are almost 23 million com

The Accounting Firm
The Accounting Firm of Watchen, Ewe, and Goode has never, to my knowledge, revoked a drawing due to illegal or unethical practices. Does anyone know of a story where the CPA witness has revoked a drawing? Has it ever happened? And is there really any point to having a CPA witness present during a computerized drawing? What are your thoughts about these CPA witnesses to the lottery drawings?

Um Pisssed! MO is bad!
I wish! No, what they are doing is closing down the system and doing the drawing right then. It use to be you could buy all the way up until 15 minutes before the drawing and then the drawings would be aired live at 6:58 for the eve game. Now, they draw at 6:45. So, the aired shows at 6:58 are no longer live (they didn't bother to mention that to anybody). I'm not sure when they close down the system now probably 6:40. if not, it may still be 6:45, but only after they shut down the buying pro

Lottery Post member turns up the heat on the Hoosier Lottery
Gtech has most lottery contracts in the United States. They have in each state 2 large computers that runs the lottery in each State. Everyone is concerned about computerized drawing and want the old drawing machines back. I don't want any of them really. Why? They are all controlled, by Gtech. I live in Houston, Texas and can tell you its all corrupt. The trial for Enron is finally starting here in Houston where the Enron Headquarters went bust. Gtech ought to be the next company to go

Subj: Re: daily 4 winnerDate: 3/21/05 2:30:33 PM Central Standard TimeDear Player: Thank you for your message regarding the Daily 4 $50,000 winner. The Indianapolis woman you are referring to played it straight on her$10 Daily 4 ticket. In the March 8 midday drawing, she multiplied herwinnings by 10 and claimed a $50,000 prize. She essentially won 10times. When playing Daily 4, you can place up to a $10 wager to increaseyour payout if you win. I have provided you with a brief example below:A
