Interesting reading...
I don't think Powerball or Mega Millions would lose money if they went computerized. As long as people lust for millions of dollars, nothing will prdvent them from playing, not even computerized drawings. Ball drawings can be manipulated too, not just computerized drawings. Why does everyone automatically assume lottery officials who institute computer drawings are corrupt? They're just trying to save money so more goes toward the programs the lotteries are supposed to support.

Live pick3 and pick DRAWINGS
Hello fellow players I am new to this site. Can anyone tell me why most of the lottery drawings are computerized drawings and not random ping pong balls drawn from a tank? By having computerized drawings the numbers are generated like a horse race odds before the race. The payout changes until the numbers are drawn. Therefore the payout is based on the least amount of money wagered on each number and the payout is smaller. Can we force a change back to the ping pong balls. l live in Washington,

N.C. computerized drawings - who will guard against?
The best and only way to control or stop losses (and increase profitability) if you are the State is to put a computer in charge of your lotto drawings. Why?One, a computer (i.e., the person doing your software) can screen all the combinations before the drawing to make sure there are no winners, OR to make sure there are LESS winners than found in purely random drawings. Two, your computer can hence increase the profitability of the State through the lotto by making sure fewer winners or no

Why so much greed?
Yes, I'm the guy who set up the computerized drawings petition, and we all need to rally around two things:Hold the line: No more states fall victim to computerized drawings. In addition, for all new lotteries, like Oklahoma and North Caolina, we must ensure that they go with real lottery drawings from day 1. I am happy to say that since day 1 of the petition, not one state has converted to computerized drawings. We must all be vigilant, and not let this ever happen!Roll them back: Get states

very important poll-computer draws
I'm not sure why Kuck is the only variable , as you say, but apparently you have not read, or have not taken seriously, all of the many arguments against computerized drawings.Recently, companies that produce the computers and software for these terrible computerized drawings have started to notice that there is a groundswell against their product. Thus, they have started a concerted effort to post supportive messages about computerized drawings, hoping to make it seem that they're not so bad.

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Thanks for the interesting link. The first thing I found interesting was how profitable the Megaplier is, and it really makes me wonder why all states don't offer it.With regard to the computerized drawings discussion, I found that the Textas Lottery Commission (TLC) Board appears to be hypnotized by computerized lottery drawing people/companies.The testimony of the A M professor was amazing in that he must have spoke for an hour, and said what could be boiled down into one minute. Basically,

POLL 1 of 3: Computerized drawings vs. ball drawings
I know there have been many polls like this before, but let's do a fresh poll, to find out what the current feelings of lottery players are. I'd appreciate as much participation as possible, no matter what your viewpoint is. Please indicate your preference as to what type of lottery drawings your prefer Computerized drawings, which use a computer system to generate random numbers. Some computerized states show the results in an animated cartoon sequence, and other computerized states

RNG controlled
No, computerized drawings are not better for players. Quite the opposite. Computerized drawings hurt players through the numerous glitches we have documented over the years, causing countless numbers of lottery tickets to have zero chance of winning. Also, the world's biggest lottery scandal, in which a $16 million jackpot was stolen as well as several other multi-million dollar prizes, was accomplished by rigging computerized drawings. Computerized drawings produce more income for the states
