Warning about Lottery Universe
It's not legal for them to sign it if they have already entered into a legal contract with you saying it's yours. I know quite a bit about this subject.

Buying lottery tickets online
Really? They paid? Are those sites still up or where they taken down by threats of legal actions or legal actions? I know that one state lottery said if someone got lucky enough to win on a 'Ebay' ticket, they would refuse to pay. Any idea what the jackpot were and how officially 'happy' the lotteries were when they paid the prizes?

Why can teenagers play the lotto?
Guesser, my friend, Hugh Heffner doesn't film children having sex. He also pays the models in his magazines a lot of money. I'm too tired to get into a long discussion about GGW. You obviously don't know how many times this piece of dirt has been arrested for using underage girls in his videos. He's been found guilty on drug possession, pornography, and the corruption of a minor (some of the girls in his videos are only 16) and gets off with a fine and community service. The police found coc

Would you join a lottery pool consisting solely of family members?
One would hope that any court would realize that a person who did not participate in the pool was not entitled to anything from the win, regardless of the legal definition you've employed. Aside from that, the legal definition you quote is framed in Family Law dealing with benefits and entitlements setting the legal requirements for who might contest a will or why an adopted child is entitled to child support. It would be a rigorous task, bordering the impossible, to win anything based on

Do you sign your tickets?
Actually, i believe that may be a myth in most cases and it makes sense why that may be when i think about the way the lottery explained it to me recently. I have been asking some questions and if i was you, i would thoroughly look into this for your particular state lottery. The way it was explained to me was once you present your ticket and the process of verifying is complete, a whole new process of legal claim forms are presented which addresses things like the handling of proceeds going for

Would you hand back the winning MM/PB ticket you picked up to someone chasing it down the street?
As long as the ticket is unsigned, it's legal to cash it in. At least here in florida, the ticket is a Bearer instrument, meaning whomever has that ticket (unsigned) in their possesion is the legal owner. This is why they urge people to sign it as soon as possible. Now, on the moral side of the story, If the person was told by the clerk that he or she won the JP, and the person got so excited by flailing their arms, dropping the ticket as they bolted out the door in excitement, then of course

There is no reason Mega Millions and Powerball can't allow jackpot winners to remain anoymous
i love how KY changed the point to, RNG lottos I love how you fail to understand that the point is public trust in the honesty of the lottery. If you believe that the public doesn't trust the lottery over RNG's, why is it hard to accept that they may not trust them over unknown winners? As far as blind trusts providing anonymity, that only works if the lottery will award the prize to a blind trust without knowing who the beneficiary is. Since blind trusts are legal entitites I'd think th

If they charge $3/ticket wouldnt it be the end of mankind as we know it
ROFL!!! In PA - I don't think that they are THAT stupid, even for politicians. Why? Because, I can still get 700 to 1 right now at the bar down the street playing the ''street number'' just like I did before there was a legal lottery in PA. South Philly is loaded with places to play the ''numbers'' and they pay more than the legal lottery, the numbers they use now instead of using the stock and bond market numbers, the par mutual bets from the horse racing, and they now pay off on the ''legal''
