CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
It didn't hit me until I read MDguy's post above. Last time we had a multi-denominational 2nd chance promotional draws were the Lucky Life draws for $5,000 each in May. In those draws each $1, $2, $5, and $10 LL ticket counted as one entry which I suppose wasn't equitable for those that played mostly $10 LL tickets. In the WoF promotion, the multiplier is random but it seems the total entries per ticket is relative to the ticket price ($2 $5 $10).

Post your scratch ticket results
Sorry to hear, man. I know scratch tickets are pseudo-random, but that's ridiculous for a $20 game. There should not be a losing gap longer than 5 tickets for $20 games, max. I've seen ridiculous losing gaps in California as well. Overall odds are getting worse for us (e.g., new Lucky Life series released this week).

Went against my gut and purchased a few of the new CA Lucky Life... Purchased 4 of each one. A big goose egg on every single ticket. I will not buy anouther ticket of these games...

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the new $10 and $5 Lucky Life (LL) games.($2 and $1 are same as LFL) Yeah, less top heavy, better midrange, but still not a great game to play compared to regular games. And others have said, big hit on the top tier prizes odds:

Wow! I know the CA Lottery was marketing the $5 and $10 Lucky Life games with easier to win middle tier prizes, but the pinch it put on the upper third prizes is harsh. For example, in the $10 game the odds of winning $1,000 went from 1 in 30,000 to 1 in 900,000 in the new game!! Plus, the reduction in odds for the middle/lower tier prizes aren't that significant either.

Hey, the CA Lottery tells us on their website to hold on to the new Lucky Life tickets until the 27th for the 2nd chance program. I don't recall seeing that kind of advance notice before on the odds and available prizes pages. It's a good thing. They may have seen our posts.

Also, as a FYI, you may want to hold off entering the new Lucky Life scratchers into the 2nd chance system until the 27th. Last month, I started entering the Bonus Crosswords before they started that promotion and lost out on some entries.

I think the new Lucky Life series will be released in June. The next end of game batch is slated for a 2nd chance submission deadline of August, with corresponding end of game in June. With the exception of the $10 LFL, there are still enough TP's left for a few more months. They did a $1 and $2 LFL re-order not too long ago.

Good question Max, some people hear their inner voices (Intuition) louder then others act on them, it's been often said that being inuitive is the key to a lucky life. And as we approach another Chinese New Year of Snake,;it brings up a venerable ancient proverb that to live a lucky life is better then living a good life! That is correct, the CA Lottery contracts GTECH (mainly crosswords) and Scientific Games (mainly number matching) to produce the scratcher games. Also by looking at the font, you could tell which one produced it. GTECH uses thicker coat, and it is noticible on the Playbook, Ultimate Riches, Lucky Life, and the crosswords.
