Massachusetts man wins six $25,000 a Year for Life prizes in one Lucky for Life drawing
Kate, no disrespect as I love your website, but you need to do a little fact-finding on the for Life games. Whether it's Cash for Life or Lucky for Life , if more than one ticket is sold matching all 5 balls plus the Cash or Lucky ball, the top prize is divided equally amongst all winning tickets. While I did not dig too deep into the Lucky for Life rules, the same applies to Cash for Life players matching 5 numbers- once more than 7 people match 5 numbers, the prize becomes pari-mutuel. Beginning with the September 19, 2013 drawing, Lucky for Life's second-tier prize will be elevated to a $25,000 a year for life payout, making it the only game in the country that offers two lifetime prizes. Lucky For Life
If Pennsylvania was a little more open-minded when it developed Lucky for Life by offering top prize winners a choice of $3,000 a month for life or a $500,000 lump sum, there would have been far fewer complaints about the top prize on LP. In fact, I would have given Pennsylvania a large amount of praise if Lucky for Life had the aforementioned cash option, which is far from universal when it comes to US games with lifetime prizes. For all we know, if Lucky for Life had the $500,000 lump sum opti

Tried my experiment of buying 18 Lucky for life tickets
Well I did my experiment of buying 18 Lucky for Life draw tickets at 2 dollars a piece for 36 dollars. Since there are 18 lucky balls it made sense to buy 18 tickets and see my outcome. You pick 5 numbers out of 48 then you have to pick 1 lucky ball number out of 18. I tried looking at the past few months of draws to see how I wanted to pick my numbers. The difference between doing this and buying 15 mega millions tickets is the fact that with MM you have to pick 5 numbers out of 75 so that mean

Massachusetts man wins six $25,000 a Year for Life prizes in one Lucky for Life drawing
Lucky for six lifetimes By Kate Northrop Most lottery players would be fortunate enough to walk away with one Lucky for Life prize of $25,000 a year for life, but a Massachusetts man was lucky enough to manifest that coveted prize six times over. Raymond Roberts Sr. of Fall River won the second-tier Lucky for Life prize of $25,000 a year for life six times in the same drawing. On Wed., Dec. 14, Roberts matched the first five numbers on his six tickets to earn him the multi-state

"Win for Life" giving free tickets

More state lotteries adding "win for life" games
More than half of US lotteries now offer a for life lotto draw game By Todd Northrop In the past year a new multi-state lottery game concept where the top prize pays out over the lifetime of the winner has swept across the United States. Just like there are two big-jackpot multi-state lottery games Powerball and Mega Millions there are also two multi-state for life games: Cash4Life and Lucky for Life. The games offer a top prize and a second prize that pay off over the lifetime of th
