Ohio Lotto 6/49 Starts 01/22/2007
Ohio and Michigan already share the multi-state game MegaMillions for those players who want to play for an extra large jackpot. The Classic Lotto 6/49 game will fit nicely between Rolling Cash5 and MegaMillions. Some people use similar logic when starting a lottery pool but most people still prefer to take their chances alone and keep all their winnings rather than sharing them.

Montana Lottery celebrates 35th anniversary
The Montana Lottery has generated $302 million to benefit the State of Montana since its inception in 1987, paying out more than $774 million in prizes to winners. On average, the Lottery has paid out $62,369 every single day to winners. But the Montana Lottery almost never happened. The idea of starting a lottery in Montana was the brain child of longtime Butte state Rep. Bob Pavlovich. Pavlovich and Butte Sen. Lawrence Stimatz sponsored a bill in the 1985 Montana Legislature to cre

Lottery Pool/Club
Hi! My name is Tom Dempsey in Pensacola, Florida and I am seriously considering starting a Lottery Pool/Club for the Florida games. I'm sure this idea has come up several times but I do not see the threads from before discussing the plans As most people know, the more you play, the more you win - with a good, organized filtering scheme. But I have limited money to invest each week to make the BIG plays. My idea is for pools of drawings: - 10 players in each pool paying $10 per dra

Arkansas Lottery director scrutinized over staffing plans
Just a few days into his job running Arkansas' lottery, Ernie Passailaigue is already sounding like a man under siege. In his first appearance before lawmakers as the state lottery's executive director, Passailaigue complained that reporters were focusing only on the negative and the trivial. And he says the public won't understand what goes into setting up the lottery from scratch. Passailaigue took a defensive tone last week as he explained his plan to create 88 positions for the new gam

Possibility of state lottery remains in limbo as residents pressure lawmakers By Kate Northrop The jackpots for multi-state games Mega Millions and Powerball are at record highs this week, and Alabama residents are doing all they can to join in on the fun while they wait endlessly for an approval of a state-run lottery of their own. Alabama is one of five U.S. states that does not yet have its own state lottery. Locals are flustered with the hassle of having to drive to one of four bord

My opinion about Florida joining Mega Millions.
I just recently heard the exciting news that Mega Millions is comming to Florida and I want to voice my opinion about it. From what I read, it is due to the overwealming demand from Florida Lottery players and retailers wanting Mega Millions here in Florida due to the world record $640 Million jackpot last year. The Florida Lottery is just going to go ahead and join Mega Millions, not even needing Governor Rick Scott's aproval. I know that back in 1999, Governor Jeb Bush banned the Florida Lotte

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
To increase my odds of winning I buy lots of tickets. Also, lately I've been thinking that persistence is extremely important too since there is only so much I can afford to pay each week for lottery tickets. I'm in the process of starting a lottery pool too to increase my chances.
