Are you amaze to see some of the same people win jackpots again and again
How many such cases do you have knowledge of? And what were the odds of winning a jackpot in each type of game? Winning a Pick5(5/39) jackpot three times is easier than winning a PB(5/59+1/39) jackpot once. One is 1:575757 x 3 = 1:1727241 and the other is 1:195249054 x 1 People spend different amounts trying to win a jackpot, the person that spends more usually win and lose more. There are too many variables that stories about multiple winners don't cover. If some one won the PB or MM jac

mega fixed
It's hard to reach a realistic conclusion when you're starting with faulty factual information. Over the past two years the MM jackpot has been higher than $100 million 11 times. 5 times the jackpot has been won before reaching $200 million. Of those 5 times, one was $196 million and the other 4 were $135 million or less. That's well short of always going to at least $200 million. In 6 of those 11 times the jackpot has been won at something over $200 million. 4 of those 6 were won at the firs

Idaho woman hits fifth lottery jackpot in five years
In all of the times I won anything over a few dollars, it was with one of my systems. Do an honest backtest of your system vs. a RNG method (if you're a programmer or know one). Whatever you are using needs to overcome whatever the takeout ratio is. In nj it's 50 percent on the daily number games, that is you need to win twice as often as the odds indicate just to break even! Less numbers are better than more (don't bet against yourself too much, play #s in harmony like STR with matching PAIRs);

Hypothetical question...
Rjoh's right about what was said.I say if you show up at lottery headquarters 3/4 times or more in a given period of time having won a pick 5 game top tier prize multiple times over that giving period. Someone there is going to ask you a few questions like how come you are able/were able to win so many times. Of course you don't have to voluntarily give out the information. But should you tell them you have a system that works. They might want to know what you are doing to win so many times. If

Odds are, stunning coincidences can be expected
Lotteries show that through sheer numbers, the uncanny happens; in Bulgaria, the same combination won twice in one week History isn't supposed to repeat itself in the lottery. But earlier this month, a 1-in-5.2 million shot came through in Bulgaria, as the same six winning numbers turned up in two consecutive drawings. And 18 Bulgarians profited by betting on recent history: They chose the winning combination of numbers from the drawing four days earlier which hadn't been selected by anyone t

How a retired NC potter won the lottery 111 times
One of the most prolific winners in North Carolina lottery history wants you to know two things: he doesn't cheat and he understands the games better than anyone. Through late last year, no one had more big wins than retired potter Phil Morgan, who won 111 times and collected more than $500,000, an Observer data analysis found. But that record comes with an asterisk. Most wins were for the Pick 4 game. If you play the same number combination multiple times on one drawing, and it hits, each

Florida Lottery's repeat winners don't always come out ahead
Thirteen players cashed at least 20 tickets paying more than $600 in 2011 Most people who play the lottery won't win more than a few bucks. But there are people in South Florida who win big money almost every week. A Plantation woman has won at least $600 more than 240 times in the past 19 years, according to a Sun Sentinel analysis of individual Florida Lottery winnings dating to 1993. A Hollywood man won $5,000 at least 52 times last year. The winningest player for 2011, a resident of Pa

Playing same ticket multiple times for the same draw
I've been playing the same numbers five times ($15 each time) for both powerball and megamllions. The idea is to win the second prize multiple times. It's a strategy that I think is a lot of people use. Unfortunately, I've yet to see any winners. Maybe that one time someone won three tickets for second prize of powerball a while back. Have any of you on here use similar strategies? If so, for which games? Please do share.

Md Lottery New Game Pick 5
I've always played pick-3 straight combo multiple times on separate tickets even though a store owner once put them all on one ticket and assured me I would not have to pay tax if I won. Didn't want to find out the hard way so I declined to buy that ticket. He mumbled something about wasting paper which was probably the real reason it put them all on one ticket. Our lottery just discontinued Five Card Cash and I'm hoping they replace it with a Pick-5 game. Might consider using multiple 50 cen
