Minnesota Lottery to discontinue Lucky for Life
Minnesota is the latest state to end participation the multi-state game

The Minnesota Lottery revealed that it will no longer offer the Lucky for Life multi-state draw game after the drawing on Jun. 28, 2021.
The Lottery also announced that advance draw purchases will be limited in Minnesota starting this Thurs., May 13.
Players will gradually be able to purchase fewer advance draws with each consecutive drawing, with 13 advance draws available during the sales perio

Minnesota will allow anonymous lottery prize claims
New law comes into effect September 1

Minnesota will join the growing list of states that allow players to claim lottery prizes anonymously when a new law goes into effect granting winners of certain big prizes the option to withhold their names from the public record.
On Friday, Governor Tim Walz signed a bill into law that will allow lottery winners of prizes over $10,000 to keep their names private.

Iowa man accused of lottery fraud for cashing ticket on friend's behalf
Friend of lottery winner pleads not guilty

An associate of a lottery winner pleaded not guilty to lottery fraud after being accused of falsely cashing in a $50,000 winning scratch-off ticket.
