So, someone won it last night?

Ah well.  I didn't hit a single number, but then, I'm not from Tennessee, not you.

Lots of things to be grateful for in this life, even if we didn't win, Mike.

With the prize back down in the $10 million range you won't have so much competition for the next one, LottoMike.  Being you and being from Tennessee, seems to me you are the absolute best shot for being the winner, provided there's any justice in the universe.

Here's rooting for you.

Jack

Aries,  I've reread your post several times now.  Can you tell me/us some more about what RC5 is?  Is that a system?  Is there a website?  Also, what, please, is permutation?  And can you tell us more about how this works with the numbers and how you interpret them?

        Thanks!

        Hey there, Luckyfox!!

I apologize for the delay in response.  I've been working a "temp" job therefore, this is my first visit since then.

Okay.  RC5 is the Ohio Rolling Cash 5 game which I play "almost" exclusively.  Thus far, it is this only game that I've won anything with, so I feel, why mess up a good thing!

As far as "permutation", that is what the numbers do sometimes, the way I see them.  Here, check this out:

I look at last nights Ohio pick 3 and pick 4 and the current mid-day pick 3 and pick 4 and endeavor to determine what RC5 numbers will play.  For Example:

Last nights drawing: 147 and 6735
        Today's midday:    143 and 3189

        Tonights rolling cash: 6-7-18-27-31

Can you see those numbers in the pick 3 and pick 4 draws!!!  6 and 7 are obvious.  18 is right there is our faces and so is 31.  BUT...27 is not quite that obvious.  That is where "permutation" comes in.  The 9 in 3189 permutated into 27...ya see?

Looking at numbers this way can be as easy or as tough as one might make it.  Lately I have been making it tough by "second guessing".  I always consider the permutations, though.  Always.  As with any "number system" intuition certainly is the key.  Most times, I intuite the winning numbers, but I always end up going in another direction.  I am "truly" working on that...even as I write!!!

I hope this answers your question.

        until next time.....

            Aries Moon:

Just a wild guess, but it appears to me after a glance or two that 7, 8, 11, 25, and maybe 15 or 30 might be promising for today on Rolling Cash 5

First I would like to say.. I find this post very interesting..

I had never thought of the numbers as playing music.. Cool

I play a lot of roulette.. and I have learned that it too has its own music.. (now that I think of it)

I can predict the next number within the next three to four spins..

Once I find the tune that is playing I can run my account up to $300+ ... after that.. it seems that the music stops.. or like Pink Floyd sang.. They are playing a different tune.. When I lose $50 of my winnings I know to stop...

This is a really interesting topic. Thankyou Rip Snorter for posting this intriguing topic!

I will apply this "behavior of the numbers" to my megamillions' wheels.

                    also:

I believe that numbers and coincidence are all part of the musical symphony we call life. My facts for supporting this idea:

I believe in the string theory, and it states that everything is made of strings such as that of a violin and maybe those string create a "music" that is expressed in our world as coincidence.

In a reality with so many possible belief systems that one hums as well as most of the others, better than some.  At least it doesn't sound as though it involves smiting anyone hip and thigh.  That's a big plus.

                        Hi again MM Guy:

I've been thinking about your post as I was working on the numbers today, about your reference to them as strings.  I can't say I'd ever thought of them as strings, though it's easy for me to think of them as the product of strings.  The notes.  The scores.

Interesting notion, strings.  Take a look at how the number 11 looks when it's placed alongside itself in all the hits of the last year or so.  Notice how a couple of notes will hit, then be replaced by a couple of others, two draws, then away.... I suppose I could bring myself to think of those 11s as the oboes in Ravel's Bolero, the other numbers as bassoons, clarinets, violins.

I play a lot of roulette.. and I have learned that it too has its own music.. (now that I think of it)

                          tntea:

I suppose it probably does.  I haven't played it much, but I certainly feel that way about blackjack.  In fact, I prefer 6 deck shoes over single or double decks because I feel the music better, because it lingers longer without breaks for shuffling.

                          Nice thought.

                          Thanks for the comment.

Bolero works for me on those 11s....  But, for me, this one sounds more on the order of Leonard Cohen's, Take This Waltz..... "This waltz

                            This waltz

                            This waltz

                            This waltz

With its very own breath of brandy and death

Dragging its tail in the sea"

Just a wild guess, but it appears to me after a glance or two that 7, 8, 11, 25, and maybe 15 or 30 might be promising for today on Rolling Cash 5

                              Hey there RipSnorter!

Now that's strange!  Those exact numbers DID play...just on 3/29/05, though.  The winning numbers were 7-8-11-15-25!  You were just a few days off there, my friend!  Perhaps you should apply those numbers to the game you play where you are.  Wouldn't hurt!

                              Peace.
