Thanks to everyone for voting and for your comments.  They are valued and appreciated.

I never meant for this poll to become a religious or non religious debate. Religion and Politics are two things I normally avoid discussing because both sides are normally adamant about their beliefs and convictions.

Ironically, I got 4 numbers again last night in GA fantasy 5.  I played 4-23-26-27-35 and the winning numbers were 23-24-26-27-35.  Had I only played 24 instead of 4, I would be $409,000.00 richer today.  LOL

Luck?  No way.  For me it was fate, destiny, a blessing!!!!!

I hope one of you wins big tonight……..

Thanks,

John

congrats!  you'll get it -

Double to emily's comments above!!  Good for you, keep believing you can do it and you will!!  Party

Good luck to everyone!

lottery analyst it's not you fault religion got into this thread. it's keywords that one must avoid or it will bring out the spiritual advisors. keywords like God Jesus, fate and destiny will summon visiondude and other spiritual commentators in a heart beat. i know because i made a comment when i first joined about fate and a 21 page thread was initiated because of it. Various parts of the bible were discussed from beginning to end and caused some really heated arguments as to what was correct and not correct about gods roll and destiny. Don't let it bother you i'm used to it and try to avoid commenting but just don't get it that these spiritual advisors. Have any interest in the lottery because the creator wouldn't want them to be gambling in the first place and there job is to seek out non believers and minister to them.

It's a shame, but it's true.  lottery analyst, I agree completely with this post.  Push a buzzword button and the evangalists come out of the cracks on one side to fight the heathens coming out of the cracks on the other under the spotlight centered in the middle, like some rooster fight.

    Evidently they love it.

But it's a mine field you have to tread carefully if you want to avoid it.  Visiondude can find more ways to sneak his beliefs into a thread than there are ways to avoid him.  Might just as well just get used to having to skip over a few posts when you see that pair of binocs.

Look at this great Universe. Look at all the beautiful things in it. Look at us as individuals. Look at how creative we can be. Look at how we are molded. Yes, there is a God. He is "I Am" He is my God. Who else could have created such beautiful things.

laugh all you you want,  undermine all you want.  it still won't derail the "vision" ......(not me,  but what is going to be done thru me via the "jack" at LP)

i guess i just added another one to my victory speech.  hope she appreciates the honorable mention.

nah.  me winning the "jack" will only infuriate the naysayers.

i expect you to be impressed with someone who is more concerned about what people think of him then what God "may" be doing.  he might not have agreed with everything i have said and he may not have wanted to participate,  but if a person is "supposedly" playing for the same team with the ultimate same goals in mind, then the last thing a person would do is try and stop it.  just like i told you, political correctness over the truth (if it happens to be a common "truth" that two supposedly share).  both of which LA and emily claimed that they do.  i didn't claim it for them, they claimed it themselves.  and right now if you know anything about addition,  their words don't match their claims.  and in a world where it's getting harder and harder to tell anymore who you can't count on, all you have to do is weigh someones words over a period of time and you will really know what it is they truly "believe" .....VS. what they "say".

people like that take their comfort in knowing they are "cool" with everyone.  that may be their choice ( and i am good with that choice.  just don't tell me you are and expect me to defend you when your words don't match your choices).  but it is not the game i am willing to play seeing what God did and has done for me.  you may choose friends like that, but there is no way that you would catch me choosing someone like that to go shoulder to shoulder with in anything that really counts in life.  i will "pick" those who i know that are not afraid "should"  the heat get turned up.  and it has in here at times ....obviously.

i don't "shove" (cram, force, etc.)  i teach.  and my aim is at those who believe as i do, and at those who are on the fence as far as what they believe about God.  my "aim" is not at people like you pick4 which i have told you 100 times.  i give examples of how God works in my life so that people may be able to see him for themselves (if they want to) .....and that is a far cry from a "push" a "shove" or a "choke".  what they choose to do with that information is their business alone. i don't have the energy or time or DESIRE to chase people around to make sure that they are applying what i said.  it's non of my business if they do or not and you are lying when you keep saying that it is.

but i will tell you this..... i am non too afraid of speaking the truth when it comes time to do so.  because i am not afraid (politically correct),  that gets me in trouble and people mis-interpret my intent.  my "intent" is to call it as it is when people like you are making claims that i shouldn't be in here saying the things i do. ........  i don't want to offend anyone but i will tell the truth over worrying if it does ....if i do.

judging people is a righteous thing IF it is done correctly and it is the truth.  we give each other grace FIRST (the benefit of the doubt and the latitude for differing opinions/beliefs).  but then if it is the truth about someones character or actions,  and if it is suitable to the situation, then you tell the truth and i did and i am not about to take it back.  i calculate what i say before i say it,  i go back and edit it if i need to but once i commit words to be posted in here, i mean every word i say.

when i was alot younger, my brother (who is 9 years older than me) talked me into a business deal.  for a long time before he did, i knew he was crooked.  he had took both my mom and dad for some money.  but i let my emotions rule my decision making at the time because at the time my brother and i were as close as two brothers can be with obviously opposite viewpoints on the ethical part of life (you know,  not cheating people?).  anyway, there was a "check" in my heart about not gettting involved with him because he was crooked.  i ignored that "check" (judgement call) ......because i thought "how could my own brother stiff me"?.  i paid the price for that one for 2 1/2 years.  it also cost me $20,000.    actually because i am older (and wiser), it STILL is costing me because i refuse to have a relationship with my brother while he "chooses"  to be crooked.  now you tell me that "judging" (righteously reporting on ones character) is wrong?  if it had cared more about that "judgement call" on my brothers charcater rather than his "words",  i would have listened to that "check" and never let it worry me what my brother had thought of me, or the pressure of letting him down,  over the truth.  the truth will set some people free. but for others,  it will put a bright spotlight on who they are or who they are not.

you HAVE to do it at times to tell whose who and whats what.  you don't chase people around with a hammer and microscope, but i guarantee you there are times when you will have to step up to the plate and call it as it is.

now if you would like to play the one scripture game with me that you guys play so that people like me won't  call them as they see them, be my guest.  that one scripture is one part of a whole context of content on the subject of judging another.  and that context is built around the importance of insuring that one does  it "righteously" ,  instead of using it as a weapon.  it doesn't say "do not judge" and stops there because then people like you would be right.  it continues on to doing it the right way.  not to do it at all.  in fact,  the bible is ripe with instructions on doing it,  and doing it well.  and remember that the two peoples character you defended are supposedly supposed to live up to that word.  as a christian one doesn't get to pick and choose which part they like and want to live up to.  our "aim"  is to try and live up to all of it.  and one things for sure, you are not supposed to facilitate the opposition of it.  that is a given "IF"  you are playing for the same team.

LA did it once so that isn't necessarily the total indicator that he isn't.  could be a bad move on his part because he was more concerned about rocking the boat.  emily is different.  she has been the most vocal and consistent and if you can add (if you are truthful),  that we are not on the same team.

i never mentioned Christ,  Christianity or Jesus Christ in any of my posts until you guys got all hot and bothered.  i simply memtioned "God" and related how he influences my life (a belief that is shared by many in here).  that is until you guys painted me in a corner to get me to be politically correct like the people that you admire.  paint me in a corner ( and i will become more specific), and i will always defend my right to say what i think, and the thoughts of those who are shoulder to shoulder with me on this issue.  i am none too worried about how "many",  but  i will do it even if i am the only one.

being politically  correct is akin to putting those little bumpers in the gutters of the bowling alley when your "aim" is weak.  no thanks.  i would much rather say that i stepped up to the fault line and attempted to throw a legitimate strike everytime.  at least at the end of the game, i  EARNED my trophy...

Dude i take you for being very intelligent. i know you know that religion has caused more disruption in this country and many others in fact several nations are at war over it. Our country goes to war using it as a banner to justify our endeavor. More civilizations were destroyed because of it and in the end our world will be destroyed as a direct result of the final battle. So in parting however this country is acting by shielding it's views among communities. Doesn't hold salt with me. Even the pope acknowledged that religions of all kinds were good as long as they were derived of the creator of the universe. While it is his job and his followers to convert all Protestants to Catholicism he forbade in favor of riotousness to the almighty. I guess he saw the multitudes of faiths as one with god and as long as the direction was to please him then that satisfied him. In his passing he said that suffering brings one closer to god. NO DUH i guess so because billions of people are suffering in this world and praying helps relieve that suffering. religion can be a crutch a form of control. Used in many nations to control the masses. This is one of the few countries that allows anyone to worship whichever god they chose too. As i reached a certain awareness about all this i woke up one day and cried after reviewing the history of our country and all the Indians that were killed so we might have this great nation.

Then i hit the history books and saw that this happened throughout history. A world at war over the divine creator. How sad. That we as people have to look at death as an escape from persecution. A release if you will to sit on a cloud with other believers. The only outcome of this life is the hereafter. still i am sad that now that war has entered our country and the fulfillment of the bible approaches our children and theirs. Couldn't their be another way shouldn't their be another way no why because people will make it come true. And our country will most likely be the final battle no escape for mankind unless the ship people off to a distant planet. Which by the way will be another discussion.

yep.  ugly stuff that religion can be (which if you remember that i have worked hard in here to distance myself from "religion" while esposing the "relationship" aspect of God).  man has muddied those waters for sure.  which is why i made that differentiation in my post before this one about speaking up about who is and who isn't in reference to their 'claims'  as not all who say they are ....are.  and some of the people that have done these things ...  obviously aren't.

like i said before in here, i appreciate a person who is willing to stand up to what is right and do things to stop an evil from prospering.  bush took a stand and i am greatful.  he needed to to show people who are actively pursuing possibilities of harm toward us,  what will happen if/when they do.  and there will be those occasions were we will have to be the one to strike first in defense if need be.  we cannot afford to wait in some instances until "they" attack us.  if we know they are eventually,  then we must do whatever we need to stop that threat.

but to me, it's getting out of hand and i wish they could get the heck out of there and let those people kill themselves over ownership/stewardship rights.  i am not so sure of an exact solution. but we need to get out.  now i happen to believe (for right now) that our country invaded iraq because of so dang insanes evil (eventual) intent toward our country/interests.  now i have to be careful with what you mentioned (our countries motives).  could be a little mixture of the so dang insane and the protection of oil interests,  i dunno.  i hope not.  we need oil to be sure, but right now not bad enough that we could afford to expend one young americans life to protect it ....unless there is something i am missing here.

but to be honest four4me,  it's really par for the course.  we were once playing pebble beach,  but not too long from now it will look alot more like the golf course at death valley calif.  it really doesn't matter what beliefs a person possess's.  all they have to possess is a smidgen of common sense.  that "smidgen" tells anyone who is paying the least amount of attention required, that this world's future doesn't look super promising.  now i am not the doom and gloom Christian that some people are, but i am a realist.  and the movie thats playing sure isn't the movie we had 20 - 30 years ago even.  america lost it's innocence in the world when 911 happened.  that to me was another indicator that this world will only eventually get worse.  wish within my penchant for being "real",  i could really believe that it will get better with a little "tweaking".  can't do that.

part of that is my knowledge of what will happen eventually anyway.  i don't say that with apathy.  i say it because it knows it's true.  now you won't catch me going to somewhere where i can hide out and wait till this stuff catches up to me. thats not me.  i love my life and i plan on getting out of this life as much as i can extract,  while painting inside the lines that i believe God has drawn.  but being realistic in that i have personal responsibility to make any change that i can thru avenues that i am capable of (like voting, speaking out about morality, ethics, social injustices, political correct psycho babble, etc).

after i have done what i am responsible for, i am more than comfortable with going on the ride that i believe God has already stated that it would go.  not that "HE"  approves of this eventual downfall.  it's  just that he has reported (before it happens) on the outcome in great detail thousands of years before it happened.  he won't facilitate it,  but he will "allow" it.  he has to.  has to to be fair to allow mankinds penchant to extort their free will and use it for some very harmful things humankind wise.  he maent it when he gaves us free will.  and he means it when he is going to allow us to live up to it as well.

therein lies my comfort.  God knows, reports it, it comes true and then i ride whatever wave he puts me on while i am breathing.  makes this stuff easier (though not "easy")  to swallow.

i am neither a republican, democrat or libertarian.  i pick whatever i know is right at the time (or the lesser of the two evils - lol).  i don't automatically hand over my mind except to one person.  i don't necessarily trust my govt though i have to support it as per my "boss's" instructions.  that is until they do something (for sure) .....that i know are somethings blatantly un Godly.  thats where i won't support it.  i love living in america and i happen to think that it is the greatest country in the world. when someone asks me about my allegiance to this country i say what i just said to you, while adding that i am a human being FIRST ....it just so happens that i live in america.  i don't think that living anywhere necessarly defines who you are,  though one can allow it to.   i could live anywhere as long as i was a decent human being there (albeit an opinionated one - which is not conducive to making "friends" in other countries - which would probably get a guy like me shot  -  but i still would - LOL).

i do ascribe to the thought that some aspects of war are "righteous",  and that God has orchaestrated some wars in order to have to deal with evil as a last resort.  lets face it,  evil left unabated will prevail until evil even kills itself off.  it would happen.  you will have to come to your own terms as to which ones you think might have been righteous (or at least started that way).  the bible is riddled with righteous wars were he ordained his people to fight against evil.  i do believe part and parcel of what will eventaully happen to this world (including america) is the eventaul rise of evil, and the fall of which God himself will avenge and deal with it once and for all.  i believe that because he has been talking about it for like 2,500 years and just within the last 60 or so years,  the technology matches the words.  could accelerate quickly.

i am not worried though and even though it seems somewhat ripe, you will never catch me hiding under the couch watching fox news/CNN.  nope.  got too much livin to do to sit around and watch the world flush.  could be still a long ways off,  though i suspect it isn't.

whether it's next year or 50 down the road,  i have more than just a "pulse".

i will look back after i die.  how about you four4 me?

oh yeah i almost forgot.  i really don't want to spend my impending "jack" on bunkers/ammunition and automatic guns (i am a poor shot and favor the "spray method" of target practice).  i want to have some fun (if God so wills).

no you wouldn't.  people in the mystical forum (though veiled and packaged differently),  make references to such things.  nobody raised an eyebrow about that.  and i don't chase them around when they do.  although i could if i wanted to.

i am not breaking the rules because God (and the discussion of God as he relates to those that play the lottery while consulting him) is a belief system shared by many in here.  a discussion that is equal to any discussion involving the lottery whether that be "systems",  mathematics,  cash option or lump sum.

you guys just squirm/cry because that belief irritates you. not my problem amigo.

i don't look to offend anyone because my beliefs are mine,  and although i am passionate and will defend them when they are being attacked, i still respect the fact that people don't believe what i/others believe.  you keep thinking that i am shoving them down your throat even though i hadn't even mentioned your name.  that is until you came after me.  then of course i will defend my right to be in here.

but while i don't look to offend someone,  i don't lose sleep at night if that happens.  otherwise i would let people like you strip me of my passion in one fell swoop.  while you may let people steer you to and fro,  that ain't gonna happen with me.

you should try it sometime.  it's liberating.  to be fully persuaded in your mind enough to carry a balance between standing up for whats right when people call you out,  and making the necessary allowances of respecting others peoples opinions.

you know one thing that i cannot stand about whats happening to this country, is that politically correct garbage like you are attempting.  everyone is so afraid of hurting peoples feelings, that it is stripping us of what makes a human being tick.  good old fashion passion coupled with knowledgeable beliefs and the willingness to stand up to those beliefs no matter what hurricane attempts to erode your beach.

if you at the end of your life, if you have based your beliefs around what others might think, man that will be tragic for you.  that ain't me partner.  if thousands of people are reading this ...good.   if 999 out of every thousand are bothered by what i say, then i can guarantee you that i won't lose a minute of sleep.  i don't base, nor will i adjust what i stand for just because i "might" be in the minority.  i would swim with a great white shark anyday (metaphorically speaking),  then a tankful of kissing fish.  at least i will be able to tell that i am alive.

you want to talk about  a tool of the devil (tongue in cheek).  it's  that politically correct/ touchy feely garbage.  it's eroding this nations foundation and passion,  and turning it into a puddle of goo.  ripe for the pickings.

you target me because i am not afraid to be specific.  but if you are going to be fair in your arguement to get God "tossed" out of LP on his ear (which is your agenda),  then you have your work cut out for you.  you need to target everyone  who has ever mentioned God in their posts (and there are hundreds of people that have).  where were you when the lady in the pick3 forums mother had passed away just recently,  and just about everyone referenced God?

your little problem isn't so much with me.  you will have to take it up with the "message".

maybe your afraid (and thats your right).  but i am not. (and i never will be)

and as far as God goes at the lottery post ......HE STAYS (and so do i until he is finished with me)

                  PEOPLEWITHVISIONARENEVERPOLITICALLYCORRECT

Bed,now i lay me down to sleep.......

Saying this thread has gotten out of hand is an understatement.

Visiondude, you're my friend, but you need some tough medicine.  Not everything needs to be taken as a challenge.  Let's just say you can attract more bees with sugar than vinegar.  When you disagree with someone, goading them and speaking down to them -- especially in matters of God and religion -- are not the answer.

For example, I did not like seeing the comments to Emily such as "i just yanked your chain to illustrate my point" and "in your hypocrisy, you shall drown".  These comments are shocking to me, and I'm highly disturbed to see you attack my friend Emily in this manner.  Especially on something as personal as religion.

I think you forgot the one about he without sin casting the first stone.

If you want to post these kind of statements on a religious forum, then be my guest.

                    But not here, not ever.

My apologies to all for not locking this sooner, I had not been watching closely enough, and this is not an appropriate thread for this forum.
