@Dr65
This actually makes the second $100 winner w a poppy for me in less than two weeks. In those two weeks I think the only
scratchers I played were 8 WoZ tickets. I think I had two $10 winners with the flying monkey and the two $100 winners
with the poppy symbol on each.

Sorry to hear about the long list of losers on the Million Dollar Payout ticket. I experienced the same thing a few times within
the last few months on some of the $20 games. Upwards of 7-9 tickets in a row with not one single winner of any kind.
I've been thinking a lot about this, and I'd like to offer up some thoughts to you and omiller (and everyone else really). The odds
of winning any prize (and of winning any specific prize) are the same for every ticket purchased keeping in mind the amount of tickets
out there and the amount of said particular prize remaining. So a $20 ticket usually has about a 1 in 3.2 - 3.5 chance to be a winner
and that should hold true for every ticket (and keeping in mind those other things). I think that honestly, it doesn't matter if we buy
a roll or play them one at a time, it feels like the general payback is around %50 and those who play a lot more than I do probably have
a better idea but I feel that is close. So my thoughts are, why play so heavily / far into the same pack to begin with?
Lots of people, myself included, feel that a roll is "due" after so many losing tickets. I'm starting to challenge that and offer the idea that
as we have all very well seen, there can be large amounts of back to back or near back to back losers. So it may be worth while to spread
your play beyond just one pack. If you go to a store that has several packs of the same game, or if several stores in a fairly close area have
the same game and you want to play more than just one or two of that ticket, why not break it up between packs and stores? Build a roll
by purchasing 5 tickets from 6 different rolls / stores. Maybe even less, do like 2 or 3 from each roll / store. Wait till you get home to scratch them.
That way, even if say for instance all of the tickets from a roll / store zip out, you won't know what was what and wont be tempted to go back and
buy more, because you don't know where they came from. Same idea goes for smaller amounts as well. If you want to by 5-10 tickets, get one or
two from each store or pack until you have the desired amount and then take them home to scratch. I feel that will really curb the desire to chase
especially for those who play larger amounts of tickets.
For me, I've never purposely wanted to buy more than 5 tickets upon starting out. When I have gone in and played most of a roll, it's because the
first 5 tickets zipped out on me. If I had done say 2 from one pack, 2 from another and then grabbed the last one from a different store.. I wouldn't
have wanted to chase. I wouldn't have felt that the pack was "due". And this can also save you from a pack that was hawked, now your only buying
a few tickets from that roll. By my own thoughts about, a roll really can't be hawked if all tickets have the same chances at winning regardless of what
parts of what packs they belong to. But I've seen it often enough, and so have others to where, the hawks will play out till they hit anything decent and
then usually the rest of the roll is crap. Not always, but it does happen.
I don't know if I'll ever go into a store intended to buy a whole roll, but I think if I do I would break it up and split the "roll" up among multiple packs / stores.
