Hello everybody. I just wanted to share this winning ticket which i am pretty sure everybody would like to see. This is NOT my ticket ( i wish it was lol ), this was bought by a coworker of mine, who i am really happy for, while pumping gas at a chevron gas station. He had $30 in cash that day, and decided to put $20 in gas and buy 1 single $10 ticket, which he occassionally plays. This is what he got:
I think my first purchase would have to be a new set of boxers and jeans after I won that kind of ching!

Hey Everyone! (Good win Matt)!!!
After 6 months of no gambling, I slipped and fell. It wasn't a scratchoff, I haven't touched one this whole time--but on Sunday, March 8th, I found myself in a casino. I knew it as it was happening. I justified it by telling myself that since it isn't a scratchoff-- and since I've done so well and stayed strong-- that somehow "I'll be alright."
I lost $500. Inexcusable, and the feeling of guilt stuck with me. It's the SAME feeling of losing on scratchoffs. It's a feeling I know all too well. I went to that ATM after losing $300 and took out $200 more. Same addiction.
I have forgiven myself and I'm taking it as another lesson that it's an every day fight.
Just stopping by! Thanks for listening, thanks for your support.
OSH-
Have been there myself and you are not alone! It is chasing, thinking and "knowing" you can get it all back and have done it myself. I have always purposely set a daily cash withdrawal limit on my check card of $500, mainly for fraud purposes in case it got stolen, but also in case I found myself in the casino (only one to be had here in NC).
At least here, I have "shown" myself that scratch-offs are NEVER a way to win some quick cash. I have a bin full of losers (buying books of 30 at a time) and in 2 years never won more than $1,000 on any single $20 ticket. Once they started printing the overall odds of winning a top prize (10 to be had from 1 to 4 mil) as 1 in 4.2 MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, this was my reality check in the instant department.
If I do go to a casino, I make it a point to cash out when I double my money and start over with money in my pocket. Once all of that is gone and I only have tickets left, it forces me to get up and leave the machine. If I play poker, I make it a point to stuff chips in my pocket after a decent win and only play what is in front of me , at which point I am tired and ready to sleep. End result, I leave $$ UP instead of keeping their lights on for another few hours.
I hope my true-life story here can help you and others to see the reality of when we get sucked into the "gambling lights".
Lesson learned? You CANNOT retire on gambling next week and has to be kept in-check as a hobby, not a lifestyle as the states would make you believe that "All will be OK if you play", that is B.S. and I am happy I learned from my previous mis-steps and you can as well.

Dr, amazing day! Congrats!!
I haven't played much at all since my $1000 win. Got 10 Scratch Some Cashes from Acme yesterday (#044-053) and they did not do well. #044-050 were all losers, #051 was $2, #052 was $4, #053 was a loser. Waiting for new tickets to play although will not do a lot of spending - will try on the first day as usual.

I had a decent day. I been getting beat up since the $1K win. Decided to try a few places today. 1 place I never played and 1 grocery store I only been to once.
Worse to best
Place A: $40 spent and 0 return
Place B: $80 spent and $40 return
Place C(never been here): $80 spent and $100 return. $50 on Cash Kapow and then ticket value on the new $30 and Golden Ticket
Place D(only been there once): $160 spent and $425 return. $250 on Golden Ticket and back to back new $30 paid $100 and $50
I wanted to play and the lady said the ATM was by entrance as I was leaving. Took groceries to the car and debating coming back in. Figured my plan was to stop here all along, since I was up that way for work, that I might as well go back in. I got the $100 bonus on the $30 and kept thinking about DR's triple symbol to follow. I always do my bonus area 1st before seeing my numbers/symbols. I was hoping for another $1K, but I won't complain.
$360 spent and $565 return. Crazy thing is Place D was my 1st stop. B was 2nd, C was third and A was last.

Nice again and good luck! Win big!!
Thank you and nice win.. I been getting more and more of that $20 Jackpot ticket. I want the cherry symbol. I know you get alot of symbols, have you gotten that one yet? One of my stops had the silver multiplier ticket in the machine, but it was out. I want to try to find them floating around. I am not sure why, but I feel like I do better on the older tickets before they are about to get pulled.

Congrats, omiller. Boy you spend a lot - I rarely even spend $100 in one try. I didn't see your posts about your 2 $1,000 winners - good job on those.
Just tried a ccouple KaPows from Acme and one of the new $5 Bingo - all losers. Any Bingo tickets and the KaPows are very hard to win on for me. Maybe the Hawks have been active because second straight bad outing there.
