I had 5 tickets, and all five were zippers. Most not even close.

The very first one I bought was a single digit off of being a $100 winner.

Another $100 down the drain. I have to be in 20 + losers on that raffle as

well and I was thinking the same thing omiller did. I bought a ticket yesterday

at 6:30 PM and it was in the mid 300's. I figure they were short a good 125K tickets

which makes the odds that much better, but I still didn't find a single lousy $100 winner

on ANY of the tickets I've ever bought.

I don't know that they will stop the game, but they are doing it more often now. I think we

on pace to have 4 in one year. Usually they only ever did 2. One in January and one in July I

think. I'd imagine the reason they might have undersold is a lot of people might not have known

    about it.

When I got my raffle ticket yesterday, I bought a $5 valentine scratcher that hit $20 with 4 matches

at $5 each. I missed one, and thought it was only $15. At the time I was pissed because I would have

just traded it for a sixth millionaire raffle ticket. After the drawing results, I'm glad I didn't get another.

New tickets are due out on monday it looks like. I might try some but it's time to get very lean in the lotto

department. It's just wasted money going out the door.

I had 300739 and 791.. Opposite ends.. Just saw the new $10 is a Crossword. Forget that..May buy 1 or 2, but no way I will be playing the ticket.

Sorry to hear man. Sounds like the lotto tickets in Pennsylvania are just as bad as Florida's.

I am considering moving to Philly to go to Grad school at UPenn, and was also looking forward to trying some new scratch offs. What was the prize distribution for these raffle tickets? Were there a bunch of $500 prizes, or was it scattered in a prize range with several million dollar winners?

They are bad, but really it's just a matter of how much worse it's gotten over two years here

          in PA.

As far as the raffle goes, mathematically the odds are actually really good... especially

on the million dollar prize level. They only sell 500K tickets max, this last time we estimate they

probably were a good 100-125K short of that number. Normally the odds are 1 in 125,000 for

a million dollars (4 top prizes of a million) and 1 in 125,000 for the $100,000 prize level (4 of

those as well). With them not selling all 500K, the odds were closer to 1 in 100K for these 8 top

prizes. Still a long shot, but way better odds than the jackpot games and way better odds than

          the scratchers.

The thing that chaps my rear end though is that I've personally zipped on over 20 of the tickets,

my parents have probably zipped on almost just as many and omiller has had horrible luck as well.

Not a winner between us all, and close too if not over 100 tickets played over the last couple of

raffles. You'd except at this point at least one or two crappy $100 wins.

Aside from the top prizes of 1 million and 100 thousand you can win $1,000 and $100. Their are

a decent amount of 1K winners and tons of $100 winners.

The new game prize structures just plain suck  :/

Both the new $10 and $5 are way worse than the blowout tickets.

The mothers day ticket is super greedy, they the top prize level in half

and the blowout ticket still beats it on all the other prizes even with just

whats left to win and not even considering what the blowout had initially.

The PA lottery has gotten super greedy.

Just did the math in an excel spreadsheet.

New mothers day game, has just started selling today.... day 1.... and it has a grand

total of approx 4.77 million to pay out.

Old $5 blowout game, which started selling a month ago today still has 8.9 million left to pay out.

New $5 Mothers day has 268 $500 prize and 467 $400 prizes. Odds of winning $500 are 1 in 20,000

and the odds of winning $400 are 1 in 12,000.

Old $5 Blowout tickets have 2451 $500 prizes left and 2435 $400 prizes left. Odds of winning $500 and

            $400 are both 1 in 5000.

Sucks because I really like the format of the mothersday game. I love the games where it's symbol wins only, and

when you get a symbol you win. I will not give the PA lottery one red cent of my money for any of these new tickets.

Looks like I'll just keep nickel and diming the blowout games. What a joke PA

I ended up with 3-$10 Crosswords and i think 2 each of the Mothers Day and Margaritaville tickets. 1-$10 winner on Crossword. That's enough for me for now. Just didn't have the urge, but needed to get out of work for a few minutes. I have birthday/side job money just laying around and haven't gotten tickets. Years past it was a given that I would buy tickets.. I am thinking I'll wait til tax return and hit the casino. Tad more enjoyment there. Stinks the closest one(Valley Forge) is the one with the least amount of slots.. Just don't feel like driving to Hollywood..

Yesterday I had some luck with tickets.  I was chasing some of the new tickets for a bit and losing and I wanted to get some of the $10 Neon X20.  Last week I had a bad session with them and bought 6 and won back $10.  I decided to try them again and ended up buying 6 but won $100 on the 6th ticket.  The number matches were interesting with 5 $10 matches and 1 $50 match.  I ended up coming up a little bit with that win.

Today I also had some good luck.  On the way home I bought a $3 Keno, 1 $5 Neon X10, and 1 $3 Twisted Treasures.  Those lost.  I first bought a $5 Classic Crossword (#40) and lost.  Then I bought 3 $5 Gold Rush (#23-25), and a $3 Keno (#62).  Keno lost, and I won back $5 on the Gold Rush #25.   I decided to try again with the $5 Classic Crossword and bought (#41), and also 2 $3 Bonus Crosswords (#36-37).  I won $25 on Bonus Crossword #37, and at first I thought I won $20 with 4 matches on each puzzle of the $5 Classic Crossword.  Upon closer inspection I noticed that I actually had matched 6 words on each puzzle for a total of a $100 win so that was nice.

Been not playing much before today and yesterday. Got a few of the $10 Blowout game and all losers. It's gotten just as hard as The Price Is Right to win on.

I found a Win$50 on the $2 Find $50 ticket, but I have bought 37 of them from different places and just got the $50 win, a couple free tickets and a couple $2 wins. Odds of winning a prize sure do seem lower than listed.

Out of 2 Mother's Day tickets, have won $15. Out of 9 Margaritaville tickets, have gotten 2 $10 wins and a $5 win.

                  Didn't try the $10 Crossword.

That will be most of my spending until the next tickets. IF I play them. I agree with the PA Lottery being way too greedy.

                    Gone into a dry spell

All the $10 game tickets I have been buying lately are coming up as losers and so I tried two $20 tickets (Lost on both of them Monday)

Tried a couple $30 tickets instead today and lost on both of those as well ,, Knew I shouldn't have played $30 tickets but with bad run on $10 and no luck on $20's I thought I would give $30's a try

$30 are too pricey for me and you feel a little extra dumb when you lose on them honestly cause you realize (Wow that is $30 a ticket right down drain)

Walked next door today and reached around the counter and got a $10 XMas and it  hit $100.. Then grabbed the new $30 and $20 Blowout. The $30 hit $40 and Blowout was $100.. Walk in with zero and now have $180(3 for 3).. Played around alittle and left with $100. Stopped at Sheetz and grabbed 5-$20 blowout. 011-015.. All 5 lost.. Not even tempted to go back cause I have seen how batches are bad and have long stretches and still not have a payout over $100.. All in all I broke even today but got to play alittle with house money

Judging by the results you guys are posting on the PA tix makes me glad I switched from scratch offs to the casino. The cashier at the store I use to get my tickets from said he hasn't seen many big winners this year and alot of those $100's are now $50's. A woman in town did win $100k on Double Crossword last month though, she would play that game daily, glad she finally hit.
