IMO, not keeping track of WHY they pick a certain number.

And I am guilty of it to, with some of the numbers on a line sometimes.

But if I pick a number and it hits, sometimes I can tell you why, and sometimes I don't remember why I picked THAT number.

What's your opinion?

What do you think the biggest mistake people make?

(no, this is not a forum for saying the biggest mistake is to even PLAY the game, or they spend too much, etc.)

In my opinion, the biggest mistake people make is thinking that they know when they DON'T know.

One of the biggest mistakes that people make IMHO is that they drop the number too soon or they keep a number too long because it's their pet. Is that one or two mistakes? Anyway, my 2 cents.

The one I notice most is people jumping from system to system, and not giving anything time to work.

In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

Not subscribing to Lottery Post. With all this website has to offer for such a small price for a monthly subscription is a real steal.

I learned the hard way last week to believe in the numbers that I decide to play, to follow through no matter what, and to leave myself enough time to purchase my tickets.

In my humble opinion, the biggest mistake is not keeping your foot in the door.

I think it's crazy to wait for the PB or MM Jackpots to reach a certain level before spending a buck or two on them.

I admit the odds are astronomically against you but they were also astronomically against the guy who won the last Jackpot too.

I keep one line of my favorites and one line of Quick Picks in play all the time with multi-picks for 10 drawings in advance so I don't forget. I would get them for even longer but ten is the limit in Tennessee because if you want any more than that, you're considered in league with the devil and you have to undergo dunking to rid yourself of him. I increase my play with any winnings I get.

One of the biggest lottery mistakes is playing only the Birthday Numbers. (ie: the numbers between 1 & 31) Thud

You beat me to the punch. I guess some folks aren't aware that there's a greater risk of sharing the JP with other winners that way. Unless of course you throw in a couple of non-calendar numbers.
