i play our pic6 regardless of the JP, although it seems like most times it hits when it moves above 6mil. not surewhy, but i suspect that happens cause thats when more ppl. start playing. Smile like the comeback to the cashier, thats it ? uhh.. yes, you were expecting maybe i clean out my wallet? also the JP is smaller, more manageable and you won't need to go into hiding.

"uhh.. yes, you were expecting maybe i clean out my wallet?"

Too funny. I may need to borrow this response from you. LOL

(There's also the "comments made by other customers" discussion, but that's a whole different subject!) lol

Best of luck with Lotto on Monday. :)

Maybe the Experts that say this are Wrong:

            MM 5/56+1/46=175,711,536 combinations

            PB 5/59+1/39=195,249,054 combinations

            BN 5/31+1/31=005,267,241 combinations

            Key: MM=MegaMillions, PB=PowerBall, BN=Birthday Numbers

When all Birthday Numbers are Drawn: It's Smart to be Playing Birthday Numbers! LOL

            I Agree!

I'd rather be sharing a jackpot than sharing nothing because I didn't play somebody's birthday. lolol

Experts are like software: if they were good, they would win ALL the time, not once every 15 years.

Real lottery experts know they're luckier than most if they win a lottery jackpot once in a life time.

Real experts know they are doing fine if they consistently get 2x5, or 1x5 + the RB.

If you consistently get 2x5, then you probably hit 3x5 once in awhile (be reasonable)

And a 4x5 now and then, a couple times a year.

But you also know a lot of that is LUCK.

                EDUCATED luck, but luck nonetheless.

If you get 0x5 more than four times in a row, you have issues with your 'system'. (assuming you play 2 games every draw)

                  Ouch! Those ones hurt, Tenaj.

I missed $100,000 the same way.

Had the same Cash5 numbers in Va for 48 draws in a row.

All 5 came in on the 49th draw.

My brothers call it "buzzard" luck. lol

This is often my biggest mistake.  I'll be a day too early and a dollar short the next day.  I played this ticket a day too early and didn't have money to play the next day.  I had it in online and at the store for about three days.  Ran out of money, had to pay bills, had spent what I had budgeted.

                    What was I thinking?

                    Last night, July 22nd, 2011

                    I played:

                    123, 133, 333, 134,straight/ str/box, 122, 823

                    2-3-3 Winning Number

                    Really, Missouri Lottery?

                    July 21st, 2011

                    I played:

                    416, 247, 248, 823,

                    246:  Winning Number

                    Lmaoooooo, to keep from crying.

                    Good Luck.!!!!!!

I rather miss by a mile.  Otherwise you will think, what was I thinking and what if.  It's like one poster said in this thread, it's what you do after a miss is where the mistakes come in.  Looks like you just played the wrong number rather than keeping the winning number in.  I borrowed Vergie6's crying girl and go over mine.

There was a blog years ago here on LP that listed just about everything that is talked about in this thread, even what to do after a lost, planning, keeping track of winning/losing.  I looked for it long ago again but I guess it is gone.

                        I like those stats!

Birthday numbers only came up once so far this year.

So it looks like mine have an excellent chance and quite possibly the inside track over the next five months or so.

                        I think it's a lock!

FWIW: The NJ Cash-5 has 40 numbers. That means only 9 of 'em don't fall into the "birthday number" category.

This is true, but your original example was just one draw, and I wasn't aware that this was  the norm in PB until you showed me the list of the 3 year stat. Below is what you originally posted. But again, I still would be interested to see the nationwide stats. And If they reflect the list you showed with PB, then everything we were taught regarding birthday numbers would be false. I just don't feel it's fair to shoot down the birthday numbers based on one game's 3 year history. In fact, I don't believe the folks who pushed the whole birthday number idea based it on the PB alone. That idea was around long before PB even existed.

I guess a lot of players must believe that because this recent PB drawing:

                              07/09/11 - 01 09 11 23 31  +06

had no winners of its $48.0 M prize.

The biggest mistakes lottery players make is believing everything the experts say.
