Cool car! Treks are cool too. Had one when I was in a large northern city for a while til some low-life puke stole it out of my garage. I bought another one just to use for bait but he never came back. I had big plans for him.

I have a decent bike right now that gets the job done but I get jealous every time I pass someone with a really nice Trek one. At least with my current bike there's no big risk in it getting stolen or parts taken like I see so many of. With that car, I'm so glad they have the convertible, I like the look of the normal one but not too much of a fan of those doors.

I've been browsing the forum a bit but not signed in, just quickly looking through to see what's new. I had moved out to the west coast and had someone in the family pass so I've just been spending more time out and about, plus just overall there's a lot more to do out here, so most of my free time has been spent out doing that. The weather has been gloomy the past few days so have been spending more time on the computer.

Thanks. And yea, in SoCal, it's been fog and mist near the coast most of this week... pretty miserable. I think it's supposed to be clearing out though and it's still decent weather even with the fog so it's no biggie. Since my main transport is my bike I'm really not looking forward to the rain.

My husband's dream car is a Chrysler SRT8 and mine is a Cadillac CTS-V! Nothing too crazy for us. These have been the cars we have wanted for years!

Pretty car hearsetrax!  And these days, when I see a year like 1972 I think the car was well built, maybe  made better than some of the newer models, but I don't know that for sure.

Just an uneducated opinion. LOL  These cars were handmade too, right?

Very pretty car.  Some of these cars look fun to drive, that's for sure!

                      Thanks for the link. Cheers

I have no idea why this came to mind but even some of the old Camaros and Mustangs are nice cars. I like some of the new Mustangs too, but I have no idea whether they are well-made or not.

                      All the best,

well as its been said "old is gold and new is silver @ best"

most of the great cars and super duty mining trucks are very much hand built and that is indeed why some of the great cars like Bentley,Rolls Royce and not to mention the few other makes like the example previously post can easily run in the the million dollar range just to get yer foot in the door @ some of the dealerships

but then back in the days when our own rdgrnr was a boy and U really didn't need a licence to drive so long as U could afford the earliest horseless carriages most all cars were hand built .... not like these POC that virtually fall off the line these days
