I really like the old Shoebox Fords, 49 to 51.

      The old bulletnose Studebakers.

Dodge 4x4 Power Wagons from the 50's.

      Old Studebaker trucks.

      65 Chevy Impala Super Sport

      57 Cadillac

      Corvairs

      53 Mercury

I could go on and on but basically I like most everything from about 49 to about 66 and the muscle cars for a few years after that.

You know, what strikes me is that I could identify what make, model and year any car was in those days and I don't think I could do it nowadays if I was growing up now. It just seems like everything looks the same now.

In March,1969, I re-enlisted in the USAF. My friend says to me,"Bob, I want to show you the car, you need, I didn't have one, just came from Nam, in December. Drove down to the Oldsmobile dealer, sitting in the showroom was a red with white pin stripes, 69 Olds 442H/O. Never seen anything so pretty, including my first wife. I bought it, then and there. Never have own a car that caused me so much trouble. It was the only one in Great Falls, Montana. Within 3 months, every cop in Great Falls knew me. The judges knew me, by name. The last time in court, the judge told me, " if I ever see you in my court room again, you will be walking, not driving". Sold that car as fast as I could, but I never forgot it. Didn't know but one speed, wide open!!!

One of these days I'm gonna climb that ridge and put a dish up there.

If I ever win Mass Cash, I would purchase a 2004-2005 Subaru Forester 2.5XT with automatic transmission, leather seats and the panormaic sunroof. I could get one in really good condition for about $13,000-$15,000. That is my dream car.
